How did she come to be at the nursing home, did someone check her in, was she taken there from a hospital? What records did they have? I mean there must be some info. How long was she there? Had she been sick, in an accident or what? If she was there for any length of time, how was the home paid? It appears she was under 60, that is young to die... I am not really asking anyone those questions--it does not appear that information has been released is more my point.

So she said her last name/maiden name was O'Malley. I wonder if only Frosty was a nickname and Austin and O'Malley are actual last names... The picture had to come from somewhere too. The way she was dressed quite nicely with her hair done does not look like a likely nursing home picture. I would have to guess she had it with her? I wish we could see more of the background, the vehicle even could be a start. Even if not connected to her, tracing the owner (if a plate shows, etc.), could have the owner recognizing where the background is and start a lead on an area she was in.

The picture of her outside I would think someone somewhere would recognize. It should be like passed around Facebook or something and maybe someone would go, oh that is my aunt so and so....

I hope even though there may be no crime connected to this at all that someone in LE is investigating who she was.

It is sad she apparently was all alone.

Well, after I wrote all of that, I found these two things and both have different pictures of her. So there are more pics...

I often wonder if they were in some kind of abusive relationship.
Yes. She seemed pretty extroverted. Usually in abusive relationships they aren't. But nothing is 100%. No one knowing her. The lack of details of under what circumstances was she checked in. Who paid for her care. If the State or Medicare did they would have to use her real name and SSI #. There are pieces missing that should automatically be there under the circumstances.

Good point about the medicare! Or any SSI she was receiving to help the costs of the room.

There is plenty missing. Payment, any income. They have to know how she came to be there even if she just wandered in, whether she came from a hospital, etc. Did they never ask her real name or did they not know until she died? Did she come in with only the clothing on her back or more?

Could they have found out after her death that she was not who she said she was? It used to be fairly easy for people to assume the identity of another person that had died.
That's a good point. I wonder if they would say that other than she didn't use her real name.

If that was the case wouldn't they find a death record for the real Frosty Austin though? Unless identity fraud I guess and the real person doesn't know... Or the real one is missing...

That's what I am wondering if that happened and is how they found out that she is not that person

Well I would think someone's real name isn't "Frosty". So why they never pursued this woman's real identity while in their care is beyond me.

Yeah, I assume Frosty may well be a nickname but if so, didn't the nursing home ask what's your first real name when she was enrolled or wouldn't her records have her real first name? This whole thing is strange...
