Adre ‘Psycho’ Baroz arrested for 5 murders, victims found in burn pits in Conejos County, CO in Nov 2020

As far as I can see they still do not have him. The way he looks I would think he would stand out and be easy to find. He would have to hide or at least cover up...

Tyson Draper is heading to the area Thanksgiving week and, it sounds like, is very familiar with the area.

One has to wonder why this man was free to begin with, or at least he has a "lengthy" criminal history... And since he was due in court, he must have been released on bond despite that lengthy history?

"Baroz has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2014. On the same day investigators were calling for his capture, he was supposed to be in court in Alamosa for weapons and drug charges."

Maybe that's how they found the remains is that they sent somebody for him to bring him in since he missed his court appearance.
It's a bit confusing. They say they had a warrant due to stolen vehicles and equipment which I think was executed like on the 10th. I think most thought, I included, they just found these remains, but it is starting to sound like they found remains earlier and they were more recently confirmed as human remains. I am still confused of when they issued this warrant for murder but like it says he was supposed to be in court (on other things) the day they were calling for his capture which to my knowledge is what we just heard when becoming aware of these bodies...

Despite the fact they were a bit more forthcoming than some LE and had a joint press conference and even took chat questions, it is becoming clear there is much we don't know.

Another thing is they said the owners of these properties were not residing on them... Is he the owner of either? Did he ever live on either of them--I would almost assume so as the homicide warrant is for him but I have no idea if the original search warrant was related to him at all..

I am waiting to see a decent reporter go access at least his former court records and address(es) etc....

Hmm. That's interesting. I wonder about his past or other states.

The JV I believe indicates juvenile which I is truancy, neglect, child abuse, paternity, dependency or child support in Colorado. The D indicates Superior Court rather than county. Per google and Colorado courts (not per me lol).

So glad they caught this guy! Are the kidnapping charges because someone was with him? Do we know?
As far as I know, there is still little info. My thought was maybe the kidnapping relates to the bodies but you have a good point, he could have been holding someone and/or assaulted them and they found that out on arrest... The warrant, however, was issued before he was found, I just am unsure whether kidnapping or assault were part of the original warrant or now added... I remember them saying he was wanted for homicide on the warrant but unsure if they touched on these other charges.

He was found allegedly in a motel in New Mexico. I have to admit this one has me curious and wanting info. It seemed like a pretty big LE effort and three bodies on two different properties that seem to relate to the same man is pretty unusual...

The remains were found in an "unruly" condition and unknown if female or male... What an odd word to use. Clearly they have nothing recognizable...

So his criminal record, at least in Colorado, is somewhat serious both in old cases and current. No murders but quite a few charges, drugs, assault, felon with firearm, etc.

A sealed warrant which seems to be becoming the norm in Colorado with recent cases. No further info on how he was tied into this investigation... I don't doubt we won't get any more info for awhile and they probably only gave any to begin with because they needed to find him... :sigh:

Dropped the four felonies SMH
Unbelievable. He probably threatened and intimidated her as a witness (and others if any witnessed what he did). He did though plead to a lesser charge so he took that light "rap", so maybe the DA should have pursued these charges instead of what appears to be a very sweet deal for FOUR felonies for the guy...

It appears we have someone who should not have been free to murder these three victims, assuming he did it and they were murdered in recent times...
