This case was botched so badly from the beginning investigation that it will never see the inside of a courtroom. If it ever does, which is highly doubtful at this point. A semi-competent defense lawyer will be able to make mincemeat out of the investigation tactics. A missing child, which is how this case started out, then her body is discovered:-sure let's let all the friends and neighbors stay in the house visiting and sitting with the parents where the crime occurred. Let's allow the two parents to stay together in the same room for hours. Tell Dad and his friend to go search the house instead of clearing EVERYONE out and having police conduct the search. Allow Wife's Sister back into the house to take whatever she wanted out of the house in whatever quantity she wanted, supposedly for funeral preparations. Who needs golf clubs in a bag at the end of December?? Just to name a few.I’m gonna wait until more information comes out. I’ve been told that they’re going to “solve this case soon” over and over for decades.
Believe the same. JB will never see justice on earth. This case was botched so badly from the beginning investigation that it will never see the inside of a courtroom. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that.I’m gonna wait until more information comes out. I’ve been told that they’re going to “solve this case soon” over and over for decades.
The Boulder police have acknowledged that they made mistakes but I don't think there was anything that can't be overcome. This case was botched so badly from the beginning investigation that it will never see the inside of a courtroom. I have to disagree with you there. I agree with Sunburst. It was botched and a mess from the start. And now, in this day and age, that kind of thing is picked apart to no end by defense. It doesn't just slide so easily. For sure not in public opinion. Nor by juries either imo.The Boulder police have acknowledged that they made mistakes but I don't think there was anything that can't be overcome.
The letter was so detailed. A $180k..John's bonus. John Mark Carr. That little creep sent everyone on a wild goose chase. Test the DNA. They did. IT WASN'T YOU!!! I see little hope of this being solved unfortunately.DNA is circumstantial evidence and in this case I'd say it most certainly likely is even more so.
He can pay a private lab but he has to get it from LE right? Is there enough to test and still leave some...?
Even if they found a source through familial DNA, it is not going to erase things like that letter.
I hate to say it means little to me but it does. I'm convinced a Ramsey(s) is/are responsible. And I think John is using this push to try to convince of his innocence or lack of knowledge. It doesn't sway me and imo he hopes it will sway people. SEE if I want the DNA tested and keep saying there is DNA, it will make me look innocent.
I hate to be that way but I'm convinced it was in the family.
Half jesting when saying Boulder probably lost it anyhow...
Agree with every single thing you said. And let's not forget Patsy could not be excluded as the writer of the letter. The letter was so detailed. A $180k..John's bonus. John Mark Carr. Why be so detailed in the amount?. That seems foolish.Agree with every single thing you said. And let's not forget Patsy could not be excluded as the writer of the letter.
I consider the DNA a big joke. Maybe I wouldn't had they done it right from the start.
I also don't see justice being done on earth.
Maybe the author wasn't that smart... Or wanted to indicate someone connected via work, the foreign faction, and again wasn't that smart... Only succeeded in making some things pretty obvious...Why be so detailed in the amount?. That seems foolish.
35, 36 if I did the quick math right. They managed.to get away with it this long. 1996. She would be well into adulthood. So sad.
She was 6. So born in 90. Yeah.35, 36 if I did the quick math right.
And I thought you hated math...She was 6. So born in 90. Yeah.
And that gives you hope? Sounds like standard speak to me. It's Boulder, it should be a priority. Plus they've born the brunt of and shame of it not be solved and the botched investigation now for decades. I'd hate to be any DA that ever takes it to trial, not that I think that will ever happen. On a positive note, although the chief did not say that the case would soon be solved, among other things re what they've been doing over the past year and continue to do, he said that this case is a priority.
