Were they saved I hope? I do not want to read about something so outrageous and sad to find out.

Ship came into Miami on scheduled day, Saturday. ME says she died on Friday. He is unsure how they know that.
Because this is exactly what an ME is trained and educated to find out. This is also why I hate it when places have a coroner that is just some Joe Blow that is only required to take a very small amount of hours of training each year. In my state, they can have no actual medical training and only required to take a very small amount of hours of training each year AFTER they get the job.

Sure glad it was an ME doing the job, rather than a coroner.

Yep, same in my home state. My gf's mom actually was the coroner in the neighboring county, she was no doctor, nurse even, etc. We did have a doctor as ours for a period of time but the one after him wasn't.

The FBI was present and handling so not surprised there was an ME with something like this.

The family knows she is deceased and so I assume she was on the boat and not overboard but there's little info that's come out. It was also said it was a quick turn around. The FBI was on the ship just part of one day and then the cruise ship left. Also the ME seems to confirm her body was on board of course as the ME said she died Friday.

It isn't even out who she went on the ship with i.e., with family or friends or alone, etc.

They can tell by decomp stage, body temp, etc an approx time of death if they are an actual ME, so it is expected of them to be able to tell. Same as any other unattended death where they say when the decedent died. It also could have been as easy as she was wearing a fitness tracker and it recorded when her heart stopped.

True. It could also be a witness/witnesses depending on how she died or if help was called for, etc.

It is being 1arge1y assumed it was homicide but that seems basica11y most1y because of the response, etc. by the FBI, ME, etc.

Stupid computer key. Works when it fee1s 1ike it on1y.

Watching something that says ME placed her death at 11:17 a.m. Friday morning. Very specific. There must have been an incident and/or witness I'd have to guess. Or video.

The pic of her in this looks like she's possibly wearing one

Cou1d be. It's a1so been said she might have been pronounced dead on the ship of course on Friday and that's where the time of death came from.

Yeah ear1y today some were saying seemed might be homicide but they were going by number of FBI present, how 1ong there, that she came out in a body bag, ME present, etc. I don't think any of that necessari1y means it was a homicide. Even with an overdose though, there cou1d be a crime, they'd have to be sure.

Nothing much has been shared. Don't even know who she was with on the trip, or at the time, or where she was on the ship. I a1so saw peop1e saying an 18 year o1d can't trave1 on Carniva1 a1one, they need a 25 yr o1d adu1t and some a1so said that person has to be in the stateroom with them. I didn't 1ook it up myse1f but I wou1dn't doubt it.

Look at these adults!!! This teenager was 35 lbs!!!

These people are just evil. The 14 year old girl only weighed 35 pounds.

"According to the criminal complaint, the first officer on scene at the Hattie Lane home said the girl looked to be only 6 to 8 years old."

Reminds me of the stepmum of the 32 year old guy kept prisoner. He was heavier at 68lb, but he was 5' 9".
