The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in finding a baby boy who was reportedly kidnapped.

Deputies responded to the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, an area near a shopping center and several stores, just before 8 p.m. Thursday regarding a 7-month-old boy who was reported missing. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, a woman reported that she was attacked outside a retail store, and during the attack, the baby was taken.

"K9 Units with scent tracking dogs also responded and conducted and an exhaustive search for the child and any possible suspects," the sheriff's department said in a statement.

"This is an active investigation, and we are seeking the public's help in locating the child," the sheriff's department posted on social media.

Wow. There is a LOT in here. Not all confirmed but some is. Too much to go into.

What does seem confirmed is they have lawyered up, search warrants are being executed, etc.

The story of he and his ex and the ten week old baby make me SICK. These POOR children. How does a baby lie around in pain like that and not die? Seriously, from all the injuries. Ill, I swear, they make me. Her family sounds like a mess too.

I hate to say it but I am surprised there was a child older than a baby with them or that they survived that long or were not taken away prior.
STOP? The details on the ten week old baby were beyond brutal. I wish I had not heard it.

This child is dead and they need to admit it, instead they get a lawyer. Be interesting to see if any glue between them lasts. Oh he can probably keep her in line, she does his biddingi apparently but he needs a punching bag and he is probably blaming her as we talk for not being more convincing with their story, wanna bet?
 
I just remembered something from the Dulce Alvarez case. in translating or just speaking not exact English there was confusion about what is a floor versus the outside grass, etc.

I think when she said floor in this case, she probably meant the ground (I was thinking the floor of the vehicle), she meant the ground. Either way imo it was a lie.

The desperate search continues for Emmanuel Haro, a missing 7-month-old in Southern California, after authorities said his mother is no longer cooperating.

On Tuesday, an attorney representing the child's father said what officials are claiming couldn't be further from the truth.


The father's attorney spoke to FOX 11 on Thursday, Aug. 19 and denied what officials have been saying.

The attorney said his client and his wife have been cooperating in the investigation and have turned over their phones, laptops, and passwords, adding they feel the sheriff's department should be doing more.

"It doesn't seem law enforcement is doing anything to find this child," said Vincent Hughes, attorney for Jake Haro. "He's holed up in his house with his family because they are not getting the support that they need."

Hughes said they're even facing death threats.

"All the reports I'm seeing on social media that Jake and his wife are running…they're at their home. They're at their home holed off for their safety and grieving their son," he said.

Emmanuel Haro disappearance: Investigators seize father’s vehicle as evidence​

Investigators have seized the vehicle of Jake Haro, the father of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro, who has been missing for several days after his mother alleged he was kidnapped at a Yucaipa sporting goods store.

Jake and Rebecca Haro are believed to be the new focuses of the missing persons investigation after authorities began to suspect the story of the boy’s disappearance was fabricated.


Search warrants have since been served at the family’s home, including texts, computers and other communication. Cadaver dogs also sniffed around the Cabazon property for any sign of the missing boy.

On Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Department confirmed it had taken Jake Haro’s vehicle as evidence as it continues to look into Emmanuel’s parents for their possible roles in his disappearance.

Bobby Chacon, an attorney and former FBI official, said the use of cadaver dogs point to a grim conclusion to the disappearance case.

“It clearly tells me that they have reason to believe that child is deceased unfortunately,” Chacon told KTLA’s Jennifer McGraw. “I think that’s the natural assumption.”
 
This case has lit up like wildfire out there. Lots of claims, some verified, some not and they just keep coming.

Been watching one guy, only issue is his videos are always long. He is an active cop and he is not shy about yelling at CA for letting him off so sickeningly totally and soft fter his major abause of the lst baby. GOOD. He yells loudly about this soft sentencing in generall adn that's certainly something I do the same over and agree with. This guy should not have even been around children or on the streets!!

Earlier today, NBC’s Brett Rosen spoke with Emmanuel’s father, Jake Haro, who briefly opened the door of his home. While initially willing to discuss a small fire that had broken out nearby, Haro quickly redirected questions about his missing son to his attorney, declining to provide further comment.

Just outside the family’s home, a makeshift memorial has taken shape—candles, stuffed animals, and handwritten signs bearing messages like “Where is baby Emmanuel?” line the fence. Neighbors continue to gather, holding small vigils and refusing to give up hope. The boy’s disappearance has ignited a wave of emotion—and scrutiny. Last week, Jake and Rebecca Haro appeared publicly to plead for their son’s safe return. However, shortly afterward, authorities reported inconsistencies in Rebecca Haro’s statements. Now, officials confirm that neither parent is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

Adding to the mounting concerns are the couple’s troubling legal histories. Jake Haro is scheduled to appear in court on September 2nd for a probation violation. He was previously arrested for being a convicted felon and drug addict in possession of a firearm. In 2018, he was also convicted on charges related to child cruelty. Investigators recently searched Haro’s vehicle for evidence and are now looking into a reported sighting of baby Emmanuel in Kern County. While officials have not confirmed the credibility of that lead, they continue to pursue every possible avenue.
 
I would like to see the charges they are being held on. I'm not seeing that in the few things I have read. At least they are being held right where they should be if what most of us saw right away is correct.
