Baby Emmanuel Haro believed to be dead, wasn’t kidnapped

Baby Emmanuel Haro is believed to be dead and deputies have determined he wasn’t kidnapped.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested Emmanuel’s parents, Jake and Rebecca Haro, on Friday.

In an update on Friday evening, the sheriff’s department said they are now searching for the infant’s remains.

“This investigation began on August 14, 2025, as a reported kidnapping at the Big 5 in Yucaipa. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department immediately dedicated all available resources to locate seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro,” the department wrote.

“During the investigation thus far, numerous interviews have been conducted, search warrants have been served, digital and electronic evidence has been collected and closely analyzed. Based on the evidence, investigators determined a kidnapping in Yucaipa did not occur. It is believed Emmauel is deceased and the search to recover his remains is ongoing.”

Jake and Rebecca Haro were arrested at their home in Cabazon on suspicion of murder.

“The circumstances surrounding this investigation are tragic and we will continue to search for Emmanuel,” Sheriff Shannon Dicus said.

“I trust our justice system will hold the parents accountable.”

My bet is that he's been goneat least as long as she's had that black eye.

And notice the timing of it.

I am definitely interested in when the last confirmed sighting of an alive baby was. He could have been gone for weeks, for all we know. It could be yet another case where somebody was demanding to see him and they had to concoct a story of why they couldn't see him. Possibly running out of excuses?
The other children definitely have this answer, and I'd be surprised if investigators don't already know the answer.
Could be a contributing factor to the charges.

Not sure of the source of the info, but some are claiming it's been a month.

Family hasn’t seen missing baby Emmanuel Haro for a month: Journalist

Family members of missing baby Emmanuel Haro reportedly haven’t seen him in a month, a podcast journalist told NewsNation.

“Because there has not been a family member who has said they have had eyes on him in the last month now, I think that it can be a very broad search,” said Annie Elise, host of the “Serialously” podcast, on “Banfield” Friday.

“They were dumping out garbage bins, going through the trash, searching that shed that was also adjacent to the property,” Elise said. “And it’s my understanding they also had been removing some floorboards from inside the house that potentially had blood on them.”

“If somebody hasn’t laid eyes on him in weeks, that gave them much longer of a lead time to dispose of evidence of his body to drive somewhere far, so I think this may end up being a tough search, although I’m hopeful that they were reckless enough with their digital footprint that they will be able to find him soon,” Elise said.

Those same family members most likely were asking too many questions about the baby.
