Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

i can't with lori or karen..... i end my following of the coverage effective today.... here's my official notice i'll wait it out to hear verdicts
LOL they are both pretty much over except for the closing arguments. I do want to hear them though. Hopefully verdicts won't take long either.

Are you familiar with the saying 'It's all over bar the shouting". That's what i think in these two cases and i am going to predict both Lori and Karen will receive guilty verdicts.

What do you all think?

Both guilty 2
Both not guilty
Lori guilty, Karen not guilty 2
Lori guilty, Karen don't know. 1
Lori not guilty, Karen guilty
Hung jury in either or both.

i think lori is a guilty hands down..... karen...... i think this jury is going to give a not guilty in this trial..... i think it should be a mistrial with a full federal investigation into all LE in Norfolk County BUT i think this jury is a not guilty verdict.....that's my prediction

This is starting. Last witness can't be show to keep his face private due to other investigations he has with the feds.

Supposedly Lori has filed several motions the last couple of days, or written letters. Justin supposedly has them up and he even says good luck reading them (small print I guess or some such).

Well you can see him if you want, testifying in the link I put up from Chad Daybell's trial. Post 9315 ( 7 posts back). Are they just not showing him to the public? The court and jury can see him right?

I’m behind on this trial. I got to see what I mostly wanted to see, which was Brandon testifying. It’s a busy week and I don’t know if I’ll get caught up or not. It used to be I had to watch all of it, but I guess I’m done. Where’sthat key? I’m ready to lock her away.
There have been some moments, mostly he playing sick, accusing the judge of yelling at her and his coming back at her and down on her, ordering they bring her to court, by force if necessary. She supposedly wrote a letter now she is terrified of this judge lol. Overall with witnesses, no major moments. She put a few through paces trying to show they did not investigate adequately, etc. but again, nothing really that got her anywhere.

There is a TON of evidence in my opinion. Treena has done an exceptional job. She raised a lot more objections against Lori imo in this trial than the last one.

If you don't want to or can't, I think that pretty much sums it up basically without going into too much. I have to laugh--if you are done and I'm ready for it too, the judge and the P are more than ready to be done with her I think. :D

LOL I just said similar on the Read thread. Two prima donnas that we won't have to listen too any more, KR when talking to the press and LD when blethering on in the courtroom.
You know I agree lol, said it many times. Both SICKEN me. Karen's like a brunette version of Lori, and it's always about them and they'll do as they choose.
Ha ha, we will see.

Either may be drawn out a bit over last witness, but not much else that should delay anything. Read still has rebuttal. And i'm sure Brennan will be more than prepared for such and effective. So that one we "could" end up at week's end.

I don't want to miss the closing arguments in either trial but probably won't catch them live. And i definitely want to hear the verdicts LOL.
Same. I've come this far over years, so I'm finishing lol. One way or another.

Yes, I saw her antics when she was sick. I mean I haven't followed the last couple of days.

I think both. I'm more certain of Lori though. Mostly because the jury has to be untainted in Read and they (D) poisoned pool so badly. I am betting both but it is always up in air. I think both cases have been WELL prove and will have great wrap ups.

I'll be happy to have their ugly mugs gone. I expect some follow up especially in Lori's and then I hope it all fades away. I'm quitting after that. I do like to hear from Ps and LE and jurors, etc. after a trial so I will probably watch stuff for those weeks and then I'm done.

I don't know a thing about the Read trial.

Definitely think Lori is going down - again.
Per Read, you don't want to imo. In this case almost everyone agrees about Lori, in that one not so much, and some can't even see straight and some can't be nice to others who don't see their way. It's an overblown bunch of b.s. for way too long now. Imo. Both are winding up.

I don't want to see him, listening now is fine. Yes, people in the courtroom can see him, they just don't want his face aired, he is likely somewhat undercover in several investigations.
