Parental rights here tend to be almost inalienable. Overly I have always mostly agreed with such. Another parent,, a judge, an agency should not be able to end them pernanently very easily.Regarding children being killed by their estranged fathers, this article discusses the problems in the UK regarding leniency of family courts providing visiting rights to abusive fathers.

Nor should one parent not wanting to pay support be able to end such themselves or there needs to be an add on, that if they do and if granted and both parents agree, that parent still should have to pay for a large part of that child's life and repay any state aid every needed. Jmo.
However, when one parent CLEARLY is a provable danger to the children, they need to never see them until proven SAFE. Again imo. That should be first and foremost. There were signs in the one above. Did she force it or was she forced to send them?
I think parental rights are fairly major in most major countries and again, I think they should be. Agencies who make profits are abusing things these days, so very wrong.
I think there are cases they should be cut off for good but I do agree that it should not be easy, but have to have solid proven reasons.
Here it is often an attempt to get out of ever having responsibility and paying support and the other parent may agree to have that parent out of the child's life. I don't think that's right. They still made that child and if they want out, I think they should still have to pay one way or another, maybe not to the other parent but perhaps into a fund for the child for life and things that may change.. I do think it needs to be seriously looked at on a case by case basis.
However, children being sent with clearly dangerous parents needs its own solution and to never happen if they aren't in a position to care for them, not harm them, put a roof over their head, provide for them. If there is clear abuse. Tons of things. I can think of so many bad cases off the top of my head where that occurred. And perhaps after a chance or two, maybe rights should be cut off, visitation should be ended immediately and not without supervision for sure.
People also need to learn making a child is a very big deal and responsibility. And it takes two other than using other means.
These are my opinions only but any which way children need to be safeguarded first. In SOME cases it is correct to cut off rights forever. I think they should just still put responsibility on them
I could probably think of many other caveats that should be in place.

I have spoken to one of the protesters in Los Angeles, a Mexican activist named Kuali Linda Aleman, who’s lived in the city for most of her life.
On Friday, Kuali was protesting in downtown Los Angeles, using a megaphone and shouting, “stop the arrests”.
On Saturday, she joined a protest in the Paramount district, where she says there were helicopters overhead and hundreds of police on the ground.
“We did not provoke anything,” she says. “They were continually spraying us with tear gas, but we were able to wash our faces and get on with it.”
“The police were very organised and there were tonnes of vehicles,” she adds.
Kuali plans to protest again today outside City Hall. She says the National Guard won’t stop her and she’s “not afraid”.
“We want ICE to stop the arrests, and we want innocent families to come home,” she says. “Even though Trump is making these threats, we won’t back down.”

A senior Los Angeles city official has told CBS, the BBC's US partner, that the National Guard is deployed at the federal buildings in downtown LA and Westwood.
"There are going to be several protests today in the city of Los Angeles. The city and police are monitoring those," the official says.
The official also says the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has made 29 arrests, almost all for failing to disperse, which is a misdemeanour offence.
They add that city officials "are supportive of immigrant rights" and called the situation a "no win" for the police.
If federal officials ask for help with public safety, LAPD will respond, the official says.
But they add: "They will not respond or engage in any immigration policy enforcement issue."

Many waking up in the Los Angeles area are startled by the news of the National Guard arriving here.
There have been protests on multiple days this week, all in areas where immigration raids were happening. But the LA area is huge and these protests were fairly isolated in small pockets of the city.
The county has nearly 10 million residents and covers 4,000 sq miles.
Many of my friends around town were going about their normal Saturday nights unaware of the unrest or Trump's rare move of using presidential authority to go around the governor to deploy troops here.
The areas where the protests happened both Friday and Saturday were isolated to a part of downtown LA and to Paramount, a small city in south Los Angeles County where raids were happening.
Paramount is a heavily Latino area where 82% of residents are Hispanic, external.
I live close to that area and could hear the echo of "booms" as protests raged.
The National Guard last came for unrest in 2020 - amid protests after George Floyd's death - but it was not a deployment made under presidential authority.
Our mayor made the request to our governor for troops to help quell the unrest. Troops more recently came here for a natural disaster after the LA fires raged earlier this year.

Sonam Raghuvanshi: Missing Indian bride arrested for allegedly murdering husband on honeymoon
Raja Raghuvanshi and Sonam were on their honeymoon in India's Meghalaya state when they went missing.

The families of the couple had alleged that the bride had also either been killed or abducted and mounted a huge campaign to find her.
Police now allege that Sonam Raghuvanshi, 25, hired killers to murder her 30-year-old husband Raja during their trip to the tiny north-eastern state of Meghalaya. Four men have also been arrested.
Sonam's father Devi Singh has defended his daughter saying "she is innocent and she cannot do this".
"Their marriage was arranged four months back and they were both happy and there had been no fights between the couple before or after marriage," Raja's other brother Vipin Raghuvanshi said.
The couple left for Meghalaya on 20 May. But four days into their trip, they went missing.
A week later, Raja's decomposed body was found in a gorge with his throat slit and his wallet, a gold ring and a chain missing. And Sonam had disappeared without a trace.
But on Monday morning, Director General of Meghalaya police Idashisha Nongrang said Sonam had surrendered at a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur district.
Three other suspects, who are also from the couple's home state Madhya Pradesh, have been arrested in overnight raids, DGP Nongrang said.
He did not give any motive for Raja's murder but described Sonam "as the main suspect".
In response to a reporter's question on "whether Sonam was in an extra-marital relationship with one of the arrested men", Mr Syeim said "if you join the dots, then it would seem like it". But he added that these details could be verified only after the two were questioned.
Mr Singh said he had not been able to speak to his daughter but he believed that she had "somehow managed to escape her captors" and insisted that she was "innocent".
Mr Singh also accused the Meghalaya police of "making up stories" and appealed to Home Minister Amit Shah to order a federal inquiry into the case for the truth to come out.
Raja's brother Vipin Raghuvanshi initially told reporters he would "not accept Sonam's involvement in the murder until she confessed".
But he later said that one of the arrested men named by the police worked in Sonam's office.
"Only Sonam can clarify," he said. "If she's guilty, she should be punished."

CA AG is suing Trump. Trump sent in troops due to the ICE criminal operation investigating $80m tax and customs evasion. This is a legitimate operation by ICE. Trump has only sent in 300 NG. There was rioting and looting last night that was nothing to do with ICE.

The families of the couple had alleged that the bride had also either been killed or abducted and mounted a huge campaign to find her.
Police now allege that Sonam Raghuvanshi, 25, hired killers to murder her 30-year-old husband Raja during their trip to the tiny north-eastern state of Meghalaya. Four men have also been arrested.
Sonam's father Devi Singh has defended his daughter saying "she is innocent and she cannot do this".
"Their marriage was arranged four months back and they were both happy and there had been no fights between the couple before or after marriage," Raja's other brother Vipin Raghuvanshi said.
The couple left for Meghalaya on 20 May. But four days into their trip, they went missing.
A week later, Raja's decomposed body was found in a gorge with his throat slit and his wallet, a gold ring and a chain missing. And Sonam had disappeared without a trace.
But on Monday morning, Director General of Meghalaya police Idashisha Nongrang said Sonam had surrendered at a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur district.
Three other suspects, who are also from the couple's home state Madhya Pradesh, have been arrested in overnight raids, DGP Nongrang said.
He did not give any motive for Raja's murder but described Sonam "as the main suspect".
In response to a reporter's question on "whether Sonam was in an extra-marital relationship with one of the arrested men", Mr Syeim said "if you join the dots, then it would seem like it". But he added that these details could be verified only after the two were questioned.
Mr Singh said he had not been able to speak to his daughter but he believed that she had "somehow managed to escape her captors" and insisted that she was "innocent".
Mr Singh also accused the Meghalaya police of "making up stories" and appealed to Home Minister Amit Shah to order a federal inquiry into the case for the truth to come out.None
Raja's brother Vipin Raghuvanshi initially told reporters he would "not accept Sonam's involvement in the murder until she confessed".
But he later said that one of the arrested men named by the police worked in Sonam's office.
"Only Sonam can clarify," he said. "If she's guilty, she should be punished."
Not going to knock anyone's customs but arranged marriages seem archaic. I'm not even sure of the reasons of various cultures but is it to ensure money to the family or what? I mean it doesn't seem about just someone who is of the same faith or anything like that or why not let an adult child choose their own partner at least that fits that criteria?
None of it excuses his murder of course.
She sure seemed to have enough men/people coming to her aid and helping her do it. I find that pretty interesting. I'd think you'd have to be pretty tight with people to get them to help you to murder someone.
