I bet we will end up finding out. They will probably have her maternity records, especially as it seems it was a C section birth didn't I read?. They even know the father's identity due to DNA. It is just amazing. I am going to bring the victim list forward and put them on it.

I'm glad they were public with the address in case someone they couldn't locate that knows that address and knew her can come forward with even the smallest bit of info that may help.
I agree that the name Peaches could be a sex worker name too or even just a cute harmless nickname.... having ties to Georgia makes it make a little more sense but it could also be completely irrelevant. Could be something that only has meaning to her....

I guess I just figured cops or the public gave her that name per the tattoo, not necessary that she was thought a sex worker. However, since most found were sex workers certainly that would be wondered about. Ties to GA and the peach tattoo do make sense. I'm not saying they thought her a sex worker, just that the name based on the tattoo almost sounds like a sex worker name if I am making any sense. Baby was a Doe.

I'm not accusing him of course but in many cases a father paying support has a motive. However, it would appear he may have cared and gave the baby his name, or maybe she did. Or heck maybe her name was a married name but I think they said she was single right?

Very vague yes about dr. office. Thought it odd. I guess it could be what someone told them and she had told them that so not sure if true? Didn't twa svhey say too like a neighbor was babysitting for her when she worked, I think that was vague too. I probably should rewatch it.

I wonder how she came to be in Brooklyn, if she had any ties there or in the NY area.

Yeah, I don't know if we will hear it but I would think people who knew her at any point in life will be contacting them IF they get this out widely on news and more. They pretty much asked for anyone who knew her in the military, when in Brooklyn, any time at all, or saw her and so forth. Of course it is MANY years later....

If they know where she was then. Child was thought to be two years old at this point of death I think. I'm unclear how long she was in Brooklyn, not sure they said.

You are great with such stuff, like bringing it forward and the victim list. Yeah, put their names on there.

I think I said above now that pictures and names, hopefully lots of people who knew them or encountered them will come forward. Not sure how much will be shared with us though when they learn more.

Tanya Denise Jackson, 26, found 28th June 1997 (aka "Peaches" - due to a tattoo) and her two-year-old daughter Tatiana Marie Dykes (aka Baby "Peaches" ) found in April 2011, both were identified in April 2025 by Nassau County LE.

i saw a typo.... it's Tanya not Tara.... peaches is tanya

I know the Asian Doe but who the heck is Cherries? Am I losing it, I don't recall that name at all?

I have a dozing off problem lately and just did it again, it is a NEW thing and it really worries me. Happening several times every day. I've about had it with the med system so not sure what or where to turn. Anyhow handicaps sure are not fun are they...

Tresir is great with links and searching and bringing things forward. In this case I am not great in keeping victims and locations straight. I pretty much know such in Daybell but not so much in this one. I have SOME victims straight but then I don't know the details or location and so on.

I have Amber Costello and Karen Vergata pretty straight but again as far as location I lose that part but I know the stories of each pretty well. Locations I definitely get lost with on almost all. Just haven't been able to cement it in my mind. I know Asian Doe I believe was a bit of a cross dresser. Know Tanya had the toddler. Neither is charged. I think Waterman was the one there is footage of at a hotel, not sure but think so?

Anyhow, no point to it really, other than you both are probably better at keeping that all straight.

With like Costello and Vergata, they stand out because of the detailed things. Costello is whose friends saw the vehicle and the man and part of how he was finally caught. Vergata there is John Ray's story about the swinging, her getting out of jail, ending up allegedly at CB's house, left there.

Again, no point really, just talking things I guess to refresh my own memory of the details I do know I guess.

Here's some of the info that will help to track down her whereabouts hopefully


Peaches was said to be black, aged 20 to 30 years old and had what appeared to be a Cesarean section scar.
She served honorably in the military from July 1993 to February 1995, including at the Army bases Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia, and Fort Leonard Wood in the Missouri Ozarks.
While living in Brooklyn, she is believed to have been working at a doctor's office, officials said. She drove a black 1991 Geo Storm.
Her daughter Tatiana was born in Texas in March 1995 and was just two years old at the time of her death.
So she was still in Texas when Tatiana was born in March '95 by caesarean section if we go by the scar, and by the details above she was in Brooklyn, NY in 97. That is only a couple of miles from CB's office.

Okayyyy.

Yeah they named the places she had served in the military. Unfortunately the feed I watched was not showing the pics they were putting up like of them or a similar car. I missed or did not catch her daughter was born in TX so that is new to me. For 26 yrs old, just guessing she seemed fairly responsible in that she had done two years in the military honorably. She was not close to family but clearly lived a number of places in her short life from probably 18 to 26 and then had a child.

I knew you had to be gone today just because I KNEW you'd get into looking into this, feel I've learned you a little bit on here. Lol.

The names were hard enough and seeing the pics hurts even though not a one of us knew them. She was just a young mother and that child's pic, they always destroy me, just a happy innocent baby.

I don't even have an opinion at this point if it was CB or not.

It was said I think vaguely that a neighbor or some such they thought watched her while she worked.

But they were both killed so I wouldn't necessarily think she was working, at least at the med office.
 
And it is considered a homicide so I think one can rule out that she killed her child and then herself...

Not sure what you mean here. I'm not saying they were taken from where she worked, I'm just wondering if she had a babysitter at the times she was working who might know of someone that was creepy in her life at the time she went missing.
