Yeah. I think she might be Wiccan, but don't quote me on that. I know she practices witchcraft in some form or another. She believes her and her daughter's spirits have been joined for several lifetimes and take turns being parent and child. Yes, I'm taken aback.
I've heard of the Wiccan thing and have a general idea/knowledge of it. I personally tend to blow such types off in my mind as they don't really believe that stuff, it is just a thing they do to shock people. BUT I am sure there are some that buy into some things. I mean no one would join a cult if there weren't people that fall for stuff.

Generally I think people should be able to believe what they want but of course there are laws no matter what religion, philosphy or other or none one believes in. If such beliefs involve animal or human sacrifice for instance, then NO, I do most definitely judge it as the laws do as well.

I do have to admit though internally I do think some things are just too weird and how can so and so think that way. But don't generally voice it.

In Daybell/Vallow I have no problem voicing it but those two are so clearly guilty with soooo much about them out there, I treat it and them a bit differently on like I have no problem at all insulting them or saying things about them.

And I know the entire innocent until proven guilty thing and I wholeheartedly agree with it but I'm not on the jury and I'm not the judge or a party.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ind. —
Just one week after the name 'Cairo Jordan' was added to the black granite headstone at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, the search for his killer continues.

"We're very thankful we're getting a good response, not just locally but nationwide," Indiana State Police Sgt. Carey Huls of the tips being called and emailed in.

Cairo's mother, Dejuane Anderson, is wanted for his murder. Huls said ISP received more than 200 tips on her whereabouts since asking for the public's help last week.

SOUTHERN INDIANA — Who is Cairo Ammar Jordan?

An answer to the question that’s lingered since April in Southern Indiana came on Sunday afternoon at Southern Hills Church in Salem.

The 5-year-old from Atlanta was a light, brighter than the unseasonably sunny and warm weather the day a memorial service was held in his honor.

Known to the community as “Angel” at first, he’s brought people in Washington County together since his body was found stuffed into a suitcase in April. Nineteen family members of the boy, who was finally identified by police the day after his birthday last month, traveled from Georgia to Washington County this weekend to thank the community.

<snip>
Cairo’s family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds to bring the boy’s body home. He was buried in Washington County in an originally unmarked grave over the summer.

I guess one cannot fault a family for wanting a dead family member with them or near other family members. However, the people of that community took care of him, paid the expense and interred him with a nice headstone and a lot of caring. It is also a great thing that little Cairo had 19 members of family traveling to this community just to thank them and attend a memorial though.

I'm kind of hurt they want to move him. I get it, but I'm just sad.

I can understand that. "You" all adopted and took care of him and gave him a resting place/home. Now you are expected to just give him up/let go.

I'm glad or trying to be on the other hand that this many family members traveled that far for this baby and to thank the community.

Wiccan is white magic. They worship the earth and are peaceful. If they are an actual follower of the Wiccan religion. Black witchcraft is all things dark. Curses, Messing with Ouji boards trying to conjure something. Try to speak to the dead. They often use a pentagram.

One of two suspects facing charges over the killing of Cairo Jordan, the 5-year-old boy found dead earlier this year in an abandoned suitcase in rural Southern Indiana, has been brought back to the Hoosier State.

Dawn Coleman, 40, made her first court appearance Monday, where she was represented by an attorney from the public defenders office at her hearing. A count of aiding, inducing or causing murder was added to her list of charges, according to court records – she'd previously been charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice following her October arrest in San Francisco.

Coleman's bond was set at $5 million cash, court records show. The Shreveport, Louisiana resident's next hearing was set for December, with a jury trial currently scheduled to begin in May.

'It was already done': New details in Cairo Jordan's murder, suspect pleads not guilty

One of the two women charged in the death of 5-year-old Cairo Jordan appeared in a southern Indiana courtroom on Monday, pleading not guilty to her numerous charges.

When the judge began to read off her charges and the potential sentence she faces if convicted, Coleman began to cry.

She's been charged with neglect of a child resulting in death, 30 to 40 years; altering documents so they can't be used as evidence, a misdemeanor; and her latest charge, aiding in murder, comes with 45 to 65 years behind bars.

A police affidavit explains why Coleman has now been charged with aiding in murder.

It states Coleman told police that, in April, she walked into a bedroom to find Cairo's mother, Dejaune Anderson, on top of the child with his face in the mattress.

"It was already done," Coleman allegedly told police, adding there were trash bags already in the room and she helped put Cairo's body inside the suitcase.

Police arrested Coleman about a month ago in San Francisco. She was extradited back to Indiana and booked into the Washington County Jail early Sunday morning.

Anyone who sees Anderson, or knows of her whereabouts at this time, is asked to contact their local police department with that information.

Altering documents, so they can't be used as evidence is only a misdemeanor?

"It was already done". Helped cover up a murder you saw happen. Nothing I've seen indicates she tried to stop it and revive him. Well...See They picked me up and said we were going to McDonald's. And we stopped at the bank. A few minutes later my friend runs out with a mask on shooting and holding a big bag of money. Well I would have stopped it. "But it was already done". I did revive the security guard Ernie. He's nice. Only 6 months from retirement. He just passed out. I gave my friend a good talking to.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, INDIANA, Ind. — An Indiana court ruled it would not be throwing out the case against a woman charged in the death of a boy whose body was found in a suitcase in southern Indiana.

Dawn Coleman, 40, of Louisiana, is charged with aiding, inducing or causing murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice.

<snip>
The court on Tuesday decided that, because Cairo's body was found in Washington County, Indiana, law says Washington County can have jurisdiction.

Plus, the court said, despite the fact that this case involves multiple states and counties, so far, there hasn't been any kind of dispute with any other jurisdiction about who has priority or if Washington County is the right place for the case to be heard.

Bower also argued the charges are unconstitutional because they fail to specify the acts that prompted Coleman to be charged. Without this specific evidence, he said, Coleman is not able to prepare a defense, which violates her 6th and 14th Amendment rights.

In response to this argument, the court simply wrote: "The Defendant was obviously able to figure out the allegations in order to make arguments in support of her Motion to Dismiss."

The court wrote that Coleman's case could ultimately be dismissed -- but only if prosecutors fail to present sufficient evidence and right now, the court said, it's premature for it to dismiss the case.

<snip>
Anderson, on the other hand, remains at large.

A felony murder arrest warrant was issued for Anderson in November 2022. She is currently still missing. Police searched for her in the Los Angeles metro area, but had no luck finding her.

So really just the usual motions by defense to attempt to dismiss for this or that reason which never goes anywhere because there hasn't even been a preliminary yet. Thought it was a great point that she did understand the allegations enough to make arguments in the motion.

They need to check Las Vegas, NV for her and they also need to contact Metro. Metro is very good at finding and arresting people from other states who try to hide in Vegas.
I CANNOT believe she hasn't been located yet. Maybe they need to get this out there more and shared that she is wanted. She isn't holed up somewhere alone or with no supplies or help.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, INDIANA, Ind. — A jury set to decide the fate of a woman charged in the death of a boy whose body was found in a suitcase in southern Indiana will be pulled from outside Washington County, court documents obtained by 13News revealed.

<snip>

Her attorneys requested a change of venue in mid-May, and argued she wouldn't receive a fair trial in Washington County due to public hostility against her, public outrage over the offense and news coverage.

In March, the court ruled it would not be throwing out the case against Coleman after her lawyer filed a motion to dismiss the case against her.

<snip>

Coleman's jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 3, 2023.

A woman pleaded guilty in Indiana to her role in the death of a 5-year-old who was found dead in a suitcase, according to several reports. The boy’s mother, who is wanted in connection with his death, is still on the run.

WTHR, WLKY and the Courier Journal report that Dawn Coleman, 40, of Shreveport, La., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, citing the plea agreement.

<snip>

WTHR reported that as part of the plea agreement, Coleman will serve 25 years in prison with five years probation and will have to testify against Anderson in any case related to Cairo’s death.

Police have been unable to locate Anderson, but Coleman was arrested in San Francisco in October 2022.
