I think she was obviously in distress and they should.
I agree! I would imagine they've got her on NCIC, though. That's the national data base they used to find my brother years back when he chose to go missing. When he was a hit on the system, they notified me and his wife and let us know he was gone of his own accord.

Why would NCIC have her information though? She hasn't committed any crimes that I'm aware of. Maybe I'm just confused.

I agree but it wouldn't surprise me. The other day I watched a video on a teen missing that is getting no attention and she has been gone four or five months now. She did leave on her own so they don't consider it an abduction and it does not seem to be getting any real efforts. Clearly she is with someone providing for her which is harboring and possibly with someone even controlling her or keeping her as she has no means to support herself and is 15. They also had one early on sighting and she was in different clothing that same day she left that was nothing the parents recognized so clearly someone bought it, provided it or some such...

And that's a minor child where Veta is an adult. But yes, they should be taking it seriously.

Well I have to find a link but I just saw a comment on another case mentioning this one. Apparently Veta was found safe living in NYC and is now back home. This news sure was kept quiet or at least I never heard it. Of course, the case itself I don't think was ever huge news as some are.

I honestly am not surprised, I am relieved as it was certainly not a sure thing but there was just evidence at least up to a certain point that she paid for a bus ticket, etc. apparently...

Why hasn’t MSM reported this?
Does MSM report anything any longer? As you said I think recently on another thread, they have time for politics and that's about all they are any longer. Oh they may do a huge case update on occasion like an arrest or conviction but even that is rare...

Not to sidetrack, but I was thinking of the one the other day, can't think of the name offhand where they found the car and the woman's body but he was still at large... Did they ever find him? They were around Vegas but traveled to another state... He moved into like her condo as a "roommate", they took a trip or something... My point is, I forgot about it because of lack of news with what should be a serious man hunt...

Many other non-MSM sources are also reporting she's been found. Including individuals on Facebook that I'm not going to link to. Her missing persons report has also been removed from Cali DOJ.

UPDATE: As we prepared to release this episode this week, the last week of January,2021, Veta was found safe, and has communicated with her mom. Apparently, Veta chose to go missing of her own free will. We respect her right as an adult to go missing, and hope that she’s happy and healthy, and that news she is safe is a relief for her family. This episode serves as a good reminder that sometimes people who vanish do so willingly.

That's why I chose the youtube above too, he actually has her mother on so even though not MSM, I figure it is a reliable source. I think the daughter may not want the attention at the moment which is understandable.
