Funny, but I was only talking about undersea communication cables in the Basement and this article came up as a headline for me just now. This ship was dragging it's anchor in a cable zone. They are looking at a potential aggravated criminal damage offence. It has happened before too.

Finnish authorities seized and inspected the vessel suspected of causing the damage, the border guard said in a statement.
Its anchor was lowered when it was discovered in Finland’s exclusive economic zone.
The Fitburg ship was sailing under the flag of St Vincent and Grenadines and had departed from the Russian port of St Petersburg, a police spokesperson said.
According to MarineTraffic data it was headed for Haifa in Israel.
Police said 14 crew members are currently being held for questioning and reported their nationalities as Russian, Georgian, Kazakh and Azerbaijani.

The cable belongs to telecommunications service provider Elisa and is considered to be critical underwater infrastructure.
The damage occurred in Estonia's exclusive economic zone, police said.
Finland's President Alexander Stubb thanked all the agencies involved in the operation in a post on X.
"We are monitoring the situation in close cooperation with the government. Finland is prepared for security challenges of various kinds and we respond to them as necessary," he wrote.
Estonian authorities are cooperating with their Finnish counterparts to decide whether they should initiate a separate criminal case or move forward in a joint prosecution.
The justice ministry in Tallinn said that a second telecoms cable connecting the country to Finland, operated by Swedish company Arelion, was also damaged on Wednesday.
That case was dismissed by a Finnish court in October after prosecutors failed to prove intent.

There are eight NATO countries bordering the Baltic Sea, which also borders Russia, and they have been on high alert following a string of incidents which saw undersea power cables, telecoms links and gas pipelines damaged.
Those incidents have generally been regarded as deliberate acts of sabotage suspected of being linked to Russia and have prompted NATO to boost its presence in the region with patrol frigates, aircraft and naval drones.

Helsinki police have opened an investigation into potential aggravated criminal damage and aggravated interference with telecommunications.

This like many has many cases on it. It has Camila, Sydney, D4VD and then Reiner.
D4VD starts oh not sure but around 17:30 minutes in or thereabouts. Reiner is after it. Geragos is on, not a fan of his, but what he has to say here is interesting.
First of all D4VD, there has been a grand jury in session and it seems they are hearing from many a witness and it is thought it will continue at least to FEBRUARY and has been going on already for a bit.
Geragos said a grand jury is very unusual. He said the autopsy results in Reiner being sealed is also unusual. He is talking of there being problems the past six month, and in both cases it seems, between the LAPD and their medical examiner... It's pretty interesting and would seem indicative to me that one party or the other is trying to hide something here or do the other party in... And in two "famous" big name cases, imagine that.
I'd recommend taking a listen. I'm not quite through with it yet but am getting there.

OMG I thought should I or shouldn't I. Some are so triggering. But I also go back and forth because people can't ignore bad cases and every case needs attention and people to say what the he77 is WRONG with you! I'm only five minutes in. Going to take a break. Warning that not too many details yet I'm not that far in but let's just say so far her aunt, her mom and her mom's bf was involved. She was missing for a year with no reports, no concerns about her, etc. CT case. I've seen a lot recently I've and I dont' think we've heard of. Not always my fave channels I have to give some credit like L & C covering a lot that aren't like "the case of the moment" that everyone is covering.
I gather she was hidden by these family members but recently they decided it would be wise to move her to some back yard and that resulted in her body being found and again no one knew she was even missing as to reports, etc.
Again I am only five minutes in. I will be finishing it, just not right now. It does sound like one we may want to cover as justice is sought. And more is found out.
Another vibrant looking child, she was 11 but so far that soon in I've already heard malnourished, punished, tied with zip ties... Just enough for now for me.

The Sarah Patrick trial is supposed to start on the 5th. I've known of it but haven't followed it really. I watched this recap today. I think 34 minutes. Does anyone plan to watch it? Of course I'm not sure if it is televised. I don't think we have a thread for the case here.
It sounds like they've kept tight wraps on it but had enough to move forward and a grand jury indicted. Sounds as if a fair amount of evidence, however, it really isn't know what the evidence is.
Apparently some in the community think her a nice, church going, sweet girl. Family members though said differently at a bond hearing.
She was 17 I think and was waived into adult court. She killed her mother and stepdad in their bedroom and her five year old sister found them.
They don't have a murder weapon apparently but doesn't mean they don't know what the weapon was, etc. And more.
I wonder if same judge has the trial. Probably. His sideburns lol. Are those back in?
Anyhow for anyone interested, here is a decent recent recap.

I guess pressure is building against Walz with even the liberal media calling him out now as things keep coming out about the fraud here, and that's almost unheard of.
I don't think it's in this but I also read today now they've found that 400 million dollars in fraudulent loans were also made in MN in addition to all of the billions of dollars of other fraud which they've only begun to unearth all of.

There is a case hitting all over YT and news that is a dentist and his wife out of Columbus, OH. I've listened to several videos on it now. I'm tired so will link the last one I just watched only but there are others with more info than this one. More facts were known as the day went on.
In short, this dentist and his wife were both found murdered. He with multiple shots, she with one. He in the bedroom, she in another room. Two kids were in the home, ages 4 and 1 uninjured. They make it sound as if scene was somewhat staged, no robbery known of, no forced entry. Yet callers when he didn't show up for work and then friends going to check on them could hear the children, had seen his body through a window but couldn't get in the home. And so whoever almost had to have locked up when they left, the kids alive inside... Or who knows...
Here is the last one I watched but it is in no means the best. I'm just too tired to look back for others, maybe tomorrow.

Oh there's a lot more detail, too tired to cover all, but I should at least add this seems to NOT be murder/suicide as LE has said there was no murder weapon found.
It happened I believe on 12/30 but news must have just started hitting today or it going virtal with some info released, not all info, but some.

I"ve watched several things on this. I think there maybe should be a thread, there's been no arrest yet and when there is, it will likely go to trial too, so it will likely be a somewhat long term case and process. It's a bit of a mystery so far. There are cameras around but not a bit of footage has been put out of any suspect even though at large and no one is even sure if they have found any footage. The family claims they were a couple very much in love and took good care of their kids. He worked, I don't think she did although I think she was a teacher or had some kind of my education childhood or something like that. He was never late for work, etc. which is why LE was called quickly, then friends could see his body through a window, heard kids crying inside the house, etc.
The family shares some of their wedding video and pics. Such doesn't impress me. Of course they look all happy on their wedding day but most picture perfect looking families isn't' what is always the case. Hard to say.
He was not only a dentist. He went further with some kind of specialist education, maybe orthodontia or implants, I forget. He had a double Masters in Spanish. He supposedly, per the family again, participated in Big Brothers and Big Sisters I guess. Sisters? Anyhow...
I've seen plenty of comments that they did not live in a GOOD area despite having a $700K home. One person said a few on one block were renovated by the area itself is not a good one. I saw another person say what was a dentist and couple raising two kids doing living in that neighborhood. Lots of comments that way by people who live in Columbus.
While it would appear to maybe be someone they knew, there's that and so it is hard to say. Whoever it was left the kids and dog unharmed.

I'm sure his lawyer will argue that he's been pardoned. IIRC, Trump put out a blanket pardon for anyone involved in January 6th attempted coup.

I'm not really interested what his lawyer might do or whether he would try for a pardon. Making and planting pipe bombs is a lot more serious than entering a building open to the public. The bombs were probably only found because LE were doing a security sweep of the area due to President Trump's rally.
ETA I see he was only tracked down and arrested last month !!!! He has also confessed to making the bombs so I think there could be a plea deal certainly.
