This world these days...

I don't mean offense but I've always wanted to live somewhere warmer, where there is no winter, etc. The more I learn though of other areas (not that yours is warm) the more I come to apprecite how low or crimes really are compared to many an area.

I mean of course being near or in Kansas City on either side, big city, there will be more crime.

It just makes me realize that I appreciate our low crime, in both states I've lived in the last years. It isn't like we NEVER have something bad but it is fairly rare. Truly. It makes me realize there is good to this darned major winter area lol. Midwest values still exist even though of course it does change some.

Not that this could not have happened anywhere, but so many crimes out of that area...

I'm not trying to offend, more so to reflect. In my 20s, I really wanted to at least live in Mpls/St. Paul. My eldest sister did and she was a bit of an idol to me. Now I'm glad I never managed to due to life things and yet it did make job situations harder, one makes choices. So I lost in one way but gained in another.

Dumb post maybe just to some incident, but man you have so much that comes from your general area within not all that far. Some really horrid cases, this one not even the worst but all bad.

I've probably shared some of them but visiting my sister even I saw enough in the Twin Cities that was plenty scary even as a teen visiting her so I am not even sure why I wanted to live there, other than when younger, better jobs and more going on maybe.

This poor guy. Only the good die young right... Someone actually doing good things. I read part of her history but not all of it.

Lol I don't know. I looked at the one where the one news guy was laughing a lot and the woman not so much. Didn't really want to watch more after a few minutes of these twins. Thought it was his, may have been yours. I felt like ya know, husbands and wives who are together for decades can like finish each other's sentences easily too lol. I probably didn't look into the twins enough, more power to them if it gets them a good channel and attn, just wasn't up for it and didn't find it amazing.

I only watched part of one and found them annoying. I'm not saying it is even rehearsed but live together, spend your life together, live in a room together, even a hub and wife are going to know what the other is going to say, finish sentences, etc.

Without going into a lot of detail one of the last office jobs I was in, for two years, the GM (really a grand title for him) I had heard his stories so many times, same ones over and over and over and heard him deal with customers, others, sales reps, many a time, that I never lived with or dated the man, that I knew exactly what he would say.

I didn't watch both but I felt enough of one--and I did not find it "cute' after how long in. If it is their schtick and it works for them well then okay. Not my cup of tea though. Was funny for maybe one moment, the more I watched the dumber imo. If you can, get a life. Not only annoying but weird. Jmo.
