So she was correct. There were multiple bodies found. They might not have told her they were found in different places and she was just stating what she was told.

If she was passing along inaccurate or inflammatory info, it was still inaccurate or inflammatory.

She made it sound like they were all found in the same woods though when they were found at different times and places. That is scaremongering.

The guy that was found recently and they have charged someone, has been missing since June 2nd, apparently.

But it was not inaccurate. There WERE multiple bodies found.
Geez it was inaccurate. Read this link and maybe you will understand.

Devon and Cornwall's police and crime commissioner Alison Hernandez has been contradicted by the top cop behind the Sticker woods murder investigation. Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft, who is leading a team of officers from the force and other police forces in the country into the discovery of human remains in a woodland area just off the A390 between St Austell and Truro, has come out to contradict Ms Hernandez."I know there’s been some information in the media. We’ve got a huge forensic tent down there. Lots of forensics officers, obviously we’ve found dead bodies in that wood. We’re just trying to establish how many there may be at this point in time and whether we are aware of who they are or what might have happened to them. So we also don’t know how long they may have been there, some of them."
Ms Hernandez' answers have been at odds with what the investigating team from Devon and Cornwall Police has told us. Again today, Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft - responding to her claims - insisted the woodland search in Sticker only involved the human remains of a single person, not several.
He told us: "We currently have three separate murder investigations being conducted in the Cornwall area. I have oversight of all of these investigations at this time, and can confirm they are being carried out independently of each other and are not believed to be linked.
"I can categorically state that we have recovered remains believed to be those of Daniel Coleman only from an area of woodland in Sticker. No other remains have been located at this scene to date."
Mr Bancroft added: "James Desborough has been charged with the murder of Daniel Coleman and will next appear before Truro Crown Court on 8 August.
"It is imperative that we continue to respect the integrity of the formal court process and ensure the administration of justice is not compromised in any way.
"We hope members of public understand that, for this reason, we cannot comment further on the defendant or the investigation. I would also urge people not to speculate on this case, particularly on social media, and risk prejudicing these proceedings. Publication of material which does so could lead to a criminal offence under the Contempt of Court Act."

I just came across this recent update about the Zizian murders across several states. I don't think we have a thread so parking here for now.

Three members of a violent cultlike group, including its alleged ringleader, will be tried together in Maryland on charges of trespassing, gun and drug possession after police discovered them camping in box trucks.
The group known as Zizians, which attracted a fringe contingent of computer scientists who connected online over their shared anarchist beliefs, has been linked to six killings spanning three states in recent years.

Requesting a joint trial

The Maryland cases were originally scheduled for separate trials, but the defendants requested a joint proceeding despite concerns from their attorneys; a judge granted the request following a court hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Jack "Ziz" LaSota and her associates, Michelle Zajko and Daniel Blank, were arrested in February after a man told police that "suspicious" people had parked two box trucks on his property and asked to camp there for a month, according to authorities. The trucks were found in a largely remote wooded area near the Maryland-Pennsylvania line, a mountainous region dotted with small towns.
LaSota, a transgender woman who's regarded as the group leader, entered the courtroom Tuesday, hoisting a brown paper bag filled with documents. Throughout the hearing, LaSota and Zajko repeatedly interjected to address the judge directly, disregarding conventional courtroom practices and occasionally speaking over their attorneys. The regular interruptions added to the already unusual circumstances of the case, which hinges on the findings of federal investigators, despite being prosecuted in state court.
The main issue discussed on Tuesday was the timeline of the proceedings. After the trio was arrested in February on trespassing and illegal gun possession charges, prosecutors filed a superseding indictment last month with new allegations, including LSD possession.

Defense argues prosecutors are delaying case

Defense attorneys argued prosecutors are trying to slow-walk the case while federal authorities continue investigating the Zizians.
"Their interest in delaying this trial may be to put something together in another jurisdiction," said attorney George McKinley, who represents Zajko.
Zajko also told Allegany County Circuit Court Judge Michael Twigg that she believes the delays are "to stop the death penalty from being carried out in another case" — referring to Teresa Youngblut, another alleged group member who was arrested in the January shooting death of a border patrol agent in Vermont.
Allegany County State's Attorney James Elliott vehemently denied the accusations that Maryland prosecutors are intentionally
dragging their feet. He said federal investigators only recently provided his office with test results confirming the presence of LSD, which prompted the superseding indictment.
He also objected to LaSota and Zajko addressing the court, saying it would
drag out the proceedings even longer than anticipated. He estimated the joint trial could take at least two weeks.
"This is a motions hearing," he said, exasperated. "It isn't everybody gets to participate."
LaSota, meanwhile, claimed there was "a double standard being applied" in terms of delaying the case. Several times she raised her hand and spoke haltingly, often pausing to search for the right words. At other times, the co-defendants whispered urgently among themselves.

Charges against alleged Zizians members

LaSota also faces a federal charge of being an armed fugitive. She possessed several firearms and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, according to federal prosecutors in Maryland.
Zajko faces federal firearms charges in Vermont because police allege she purchased weapons recovered in connection with the border patrol agent's killing.
In January 2023, police questioned Zajko after her parents were found shot to death in their Pennsylvania home. She hasn't been charged in their deaths, though LaSota was arrested on obstruction and disorderly conduct charges after police again contacted Zajko at a Pennsylvania hotel. Pennsylvania state police records describe Blank as Zajko's housemate in Vermont.
It's not clear how the trio ended up in the mountains of far western Maryland, where their presence in the close-knit rural community left locals perplexed. Police said they were wearing black tactical gear.
Zajko recently filed a handwritten motion arguing that the box trucks actually weren't on private property. It includes a meticulously drawn sketch showing the trucks parked along a public dirt road. She also claimed that the man who reported their presence to police never saw Blank.
Blank's attorney, Rebecca Lechliter, argued during Tuesday's hearing that what started as a trespassing case was being blown out of proportion. She said she plans to continue advocating for Blank's release from jail pending trial.

For hundreds of employees at 345 Park Avenue, an iconic 44-story skyscraper in the heart of Midtown Manhattan - a neighbourhood packed with offices of major corporations - Monday evening suddenly became like no other.
As commuters made their way home on the sweltering July evening, workers at the Park Avenue tower ran for their lives, barricading conference rooms with tables and sending loved ones pre-emptive goodbye messages.
"I texted my parents, 'I love them,'" Jessica Chen, who works on the second floor, told US media. "Nothing can describe that feeling."
Ms Chen and others in the skyscraper were spurred to action by the unexpected sound of gunshots coming from the lobby.
The gunfire would kill four people, including a New York police officer, as well as others in the lobby and on the 33rd floor. One man remains in critical condition in hospital.

A man 'sprays' gunfire in a busy Manhattan neighbourhood

Just moments before the chaos, at around 18:30 EST (23:30 BST), a 27-year-old drove into one of the busiest areas in Manhattan, completing a cross-country car ride through the states of Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa.
Officials say Shane Tamura, of Las Vegas, double-parked his black BMW on Park Avenue - just blocks from tourist destinations Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Wearing a jacket, a button-down shirt and sunglasses, he wielded an assault-style rifle with his right arm, marching with determination toward the skyscraper where he knew the National Football League (NFL) was headquartered.
But he would never make it to that office.
Instead, as he reached the doors of 345 Park, which stretches an entire New York City block, he began "spraying" the lobby with gunfire, according to New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
At first, Tamura walked right past a stationed officer. But then he turned to the right, saw him and fired, killing 36-year-old New York police officer Didarul Islam, who leaves behind two children and a pregnant wife, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said.
"He was slain in the entryway to the right as soon as he entered the building," Adams said.
Tamura wasted little time before firing at another woman taking cover behind a pillar, making his way through the lobby and continuing to shoot, authorities say. Wesley LePatner, who worked upstairs at financial firm Blackstone, was killed.
"Our prayers are with her husband, children and family," the company said.
An NFL employee was "seriously injured" in the attack, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell wrote to staff. Craig Clementi, who worked in the finance department, was on his way home when he was shot, his father-in-law Robert Hunter told the New York Daily News. He is now recovering from surgery.

A mistaken elevator ride

As the gunfire continued to ring out, another security guard tried in vain to activate an alarm system to disable the elevators, potentially preventing more carnage.
But the guard, Aland Etienne, was "assassinated" as he took cover behind the counter, Adams said.
After that, the gunman headed to an elevator. As he waited for the lift, a woman emerged and somehow was allowed to exit unscathed, police said.
But the lift he boarded would not take him where he intended.
He had gone to the wrong elevator bank and arrived, not at the NFL offices, but at the 33rd floor offices of the real-estate company that owned the building, Rudin Management.

Frantic emails and a run for help

As chaos unfolded in the lobby, employees in the building sent frantic messages over email and Microsoft Teams that there was a shooter downstairs, a Blackstone worker told the Wall Street Journal.
Ms Chen told ABC News that she was watching a presentation on the second floor of the skyscraper with about 150 other people when they heard the first shots.
"Some went out in the back door, out onto the street," she said. "Other people, including me, we ran into the conference room."
A photo circulating on social media appears to show Blackstone employees piling couches, desks and other furniture in front of a door in a panic.
Those in the NFL offices, meanwhile, received messages from the league warning them of gunfire, according to ESPN. Told to switch their phones to silent and hide until law enforcement arrived, they waited for a shooter who would never make it to his target.
On the plaza outside the Park Avenue tower, law enforcement flooded the scene.
Nekeisha Lewis could hear the sounds of rapid gunfire from inside the skyscraper, while seated nearby with a friend. She could see the gunman through the glass, she told NBC News.
Before she knew it, someone ran from the building "really hard" toward them and began crying out for help, saying he'd been shot, Ms Lewis said.
"Because of how strongly he was running, I couldn't believe it. He had what looked like … an exit wound in the back."
She joined others, taking cover behind a wall. As they waited, dozens of workers gradually rushed from the building holding their hands above their heads as they evacuated.

'Study my brain please'

Meanwhile, inside, Tamura was roaming the 33rd floor, firing rounds "as he travelled", Ms Tisch said. He shot and killed his last victim.
Then, authorities said, he walked down a hallway and shot himself in the chest.
Tamura used an AR-15-style rifle he had assembled with a lower receiver - or gun frame - that an associate purchased for him.
With teams in two states, investigators are still working to trace Tamura's trip from Las Vegas to New York City.
A rambling three-page note was found on his body.
The gunman wrote he was suffering from CTE, a brain disease triggered by head injuries like those suffered in military combat and contact sports like American football. Officials also said Tamura had "a documented mental health history".
Tamura, who played football as a teenager - though not professionally, according to friends - "seemed to have blamed the NFL", Mayor Adams said.
"Study my brain. I'm sorry," the note said.

This article has pics of the shooter. Good pic of the gun which clearly appears home made. This article is in Pidgin english.
