The Zodiac Killer in California - Identified?

Just starting another thread since one hasn't been re-started since the crash of '20.

The SFPD said, soon after the GSK was nabbed, that they'd use a similar technique with the Zodiac's DNA. Due to the amount of time that has passed, I'm assuming nothing came of it.

Well, the DNA research must have turned up nothing. I'd think by now they'd have a match if it did. I guess he had a small family and nobody did a DNA test. That, in and of itself, seems to indicate a small family who didn't have many relatives, or they died out.

My mother and aunt were the only children of my maternal grandparents. My father was an only child. My maternal grandmother had nine sisters. My maternal grandfather was an only child. My Paternal grandmother had a lot of siblings and cousins. If you think about families that are small, there may be some of their progeny around, but nobody submitted a DNA analysis request.

My brother, sister and I have no children, so if we came up as a possible match the fact we had no children may make them look elsewhere.

I'm in the same boat. I don't care what the envelope says. I will always believe it was "Arthur Lee Allen". The DNA on the envelope could be explained away. There are too many coincidences for it not to be him IMO.

I ran across this. I never heard of this guy as a suspect. It's very creepy. It started out going down a rabbit hole for "Donna Lass". Suspected victim. If the article is accurate it doesn't match the "Zodiac's" MO. At all. It has been bantered back and forth about "Cheri Jo Bates" Who was stabbed to death in 1966 outside a library. Places list his crimes 68-69. Others give a broader range of years. There are articles that a cipher was finally decoded which is included in the article. I have always thought it was "Arthur Leigh Allen". So many coincidences. Had a "Zodiac" Brand watch, The insignia on the watch was the symbol used by him. The gun sight crosshairs. Boot prints were made by "Wing Walkers". Sold only at military PX's. He wore them, And the same size. He misspelled at least "Christmas" to Christmass. He thought it was funny. The "Zodiac" Spelled it the same way. His favorite book was "The Most Dangerous Game". Made into a movie. A man alone waits for shipwrecked passengers to hunt. People are the most dangerous. Referred to in a letter. An acquaintance stated he said he would use the name "Zodiac" If he became a killer. And he said "Pick off the kiddies as they come bouncing off the school bus". Same as a letter. The "Zodiac" Called "Melvin Belli" On December 18th. He wasn't there. But spoke to one of his housekeepers. He told her he had to kill because it was his birthday. Allen's birthday was December 18th. No murders occurred but I find all of that too coincidental.

Oh. And Allen was picked from a photo lineup from the male survivor shot July 4th, 1969. He said he was positive. The female "Darlene Ferrin" died. Her sister said there was a painting party and a guy was dressed up and just sat there. She said his name was "Lee". The "Zodiac" Often severely injured the male to where they could have easily died and had life long effects, But he was more focused on the women. He did not sexually assault any of his victims. The range of number of victims also ranges. He took credit for 37. But linked to only a few. Allen was a convicted pedophile. Convicted of touching his students.
 
I'm watching a show about the Zodiac killer and they are saying it was probably this guy.

They are all pretty good suspects but watch the newer netflix doc this is the zodiac speaking. It's about Arthur Leigh Allen AND the surrogate family he had.... the kids are all grown now obviously but what they remember and uncover is unreal
