I think it was the 2nd of May the grandmother claimed to last have him. But still, even if that is true and the 10th is true, a full 8 days, and we know he was not in school so what condition was he in prior to the date of his death that he couldn't go to school? I am guessing the reason he was not in school was because something was wrong or noticeably wrong with the child...

I just don't understand a father that doesn't even have his kid with him and the child has a mother that obviously wants him, why he didn't just send him to his mom. To me even if he had nothing to do with the child's death, it still makes him partially responsible for what happened. The guy left his son with a person that had already lost custody of her own kids when his son had an actual mom that wanted him in her custody! :gaah:
I've seen this happen with people I've known in real time. It's called PAS, or Parental Alienation Syndrome.

I have too and it only means that the person is ONLY trying to hurt the other parent without regard to the child at all. "I don't really want them, but I want you to suffer even more".
What I have seen a lot of as well is there is one parent who is the RIGHT way and won't use the child and there is nothing they can do to get the other parent to be that way. It is horrible.

*(volume is kind of low, however it is interesting to hear Samuel's Mom's point of view even if thru her attorney)

Well, she thinks the father should be in jail. I don't disagree but to be fair will say I guess we have yet to hear where he was and why, etc. but it sure does look that way. I will also say while I assume he would be way better off with his mother, we actually don't know that much about her either, but regardless, she was not a part of this, his father had him (was supposed to anyhow), not her.

So per the following article in the next post, she did not appear in court as she is being held due to mental health. Hmph.

The attorney stated that they had joint custody with the Mom being primary caregiver.

In the video above, he says that someone is the conservator, and I can't catch the name of that, maybe someone else can make it out, and that the mother has primary. I believe it was near the end.

Didn't I read somewhere that the mom thought she lost custody, but the paperwork doesn't reflect it that way? Did the dad dupe her somehow?
They filed for a legal separation in 2017 & agreed to joint physical custody. When the Dad filed for primary custody, he submitted his 'parenting plan' which is when Mom filed for divorce. Dad thought by submitting these documents that he could keep Samuel. However Mom stated in a different interview from attorneys, that the Dad couldn't be located at any permanent address and had switched Samuel's schools twice in the last school year.

That's a stupid assumption, at least in my opinion. You don't just file and that means you won. Both parents have to submit parenting plans in custody cases from what I have seen, it does not make his "approved".

What a hot mess.

I want to go back in time and take Samuel to my house and hold onto him until he was given a stable home. :(
