Wexford Co. Sheriff: Missing pregnant woman's phone found; last seen entering dark vehicle
The Wexford County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who is reported missing and possibly endangered.

Park, who is approximately 38 weeks pregnant, was last seen willingly getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle on Monday night around 11:30 p.m. outside a relative's home on South 21 1/2 Road.

She had arranged to be picked up but did not disclose to the witness who would be picking her up, the sheriffs office said.

Deputies said her cellphone was later discovered on a two-track near the location where she was last seen.

No way!
That reminds me of when I saw a coffee cup on the washing machine and I thought it was water but found out it was bleach...I thought I was gonna die and so I chugged down a glass of milk to "cover it up", lol!
There are certain procedures for dealing with toxic liquids. Some you can make yourself sick, if the item is non corrosive and others you can drink water or milk to dilute. You obviously did the right thing.

Sedans are pretty common with Ubers but as far as I know a person can drive whatever they own with maybe a few caveats like year, of course you have to be licensed, etc. They can vary. Lyft is a similar company and I had a ride home from the hospital with Lyft and I was really bad with physical limitations then and I could barely get in the vehicle it was so big and high up. It was too high and then I couldn't get my feet up and in, so that's how much they vary. It was a HUGE new something.

Tinting wouldn't be common I don't think but no reason they couldn't have it imo.

In some states the degree of tint is regulated.

I meant to look up the mom's address and never did but it sounds rural, making an Uber less likely but still possible.

Sedans are pretty common for gas mileage reasons.

I've taken quite a few and white is the most common color imo but I've seen all types. Never been in a tinted one.

I also have never had a car with tinted windows in my lifetime and I've had tons of them. I would not call it common and you either have to take it in to have it done or if new, order that as an option I'm sure.

To give you some perspective.
Tinting is popular in Oregon. My car came with tinted windows off the lot, as most of them are in these parts.

I usually have a strong hunch in these cases, but on this one I'm blank. Because of her pregnancy, I wonder about the "someone wanted a newborn" issue that happens sometimes. I won't spell it out as it's too gruesome.

I'm confused by what I bolded.

WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The search for 22-year-old Rebecca Park, a pregnant woman missing from Wexford County since November 3, continues as friends and authorities intensify efforts to locate her.
Deputies have cleared Park's friends to organize their own searches, provided they remain within legal boundaries.
Park was last seen getting into a dark-colored vehicle outside a home on South 21 1/2 Road in Boon Township.
Her phone was later found on a nearby two-track road, but there has been no sign of her or her unborn baby since.
Authorities revealed that Park received approximately $2,000 from a family inheritance on the day she disappeared, which could potentially aid in avoiding electronic tracking.
Despite this, friends insist she had no plans to leave.
Page Nolf, a friend of Park, said, "Not as far as I know on like housing, but I do know that her and Richie were talking about getting married and they were trying to figure out how to get that goal achieved along with buying their own house."
Another friend, Amber Babcock, recounted the last time she saw Park, stating, "Sunday night, we were dropping off the truck and she was screaming, I'm in labor, I'm in labor. She helped me move all weekend long, and it ended up sending her into labor, going to Cadillac Hospital. Her last phone call was her mom, Courtney. She said, 'Don’t let her get into a vehicle, I’m on my way.' And from then on, she got into a van with Kimmy and Courtney and left — I haven’t heard from her since."
Deputies emphasize that Park is not in any legal trouble; they simply need to confirm her and her baby's safety.
The Wexford County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information on Park's whereabouts to contact them immediately.
The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement directed to Rebecca:
Rebecca, the Sheriff’s Office and people close to you are concerned about your wellbeing. Based on statements made by people close to you, it is possible that you are scared or hiding for reasons known only by you.
We assure you that you aren’t in any trouble. We have no reason to deprive you of any freedom that you already have. Furthermore, you are an adult, we are only obligated to report that we have contacted you, and possibly your baby, and offer aid to you with whatever needs you may have. We are under no obligation to notify anyone of your whereabouts.

So...yeah. I'm also confused here.
She was with her friend Amber and started possibly going into labor / having contractions? She called her mom or her mom called her and said she was going to come pick her up. And then she DID come pick her up? Cause Rebecca was last seen at her mom's, right? Who then said she left in a different vehicle?

We have Tide here but powder. Never heard of 'pods'. Doesn't mean we don't have them though. I alway use Formil powder. Haven't seen Tide for yonks.
My mom uses them and now I do too as they are just so handy. No messy liquid to pour and no detergent to pour either. They are just a convenient packet of liquid and the packet dissolves in the wash to let the detergent out. They are easy transport, no mess, nothing to throw away, etc.

Yonks? Lol!
Never heard of Formil and you don't have liquid Tide?

So I take it that where ever Becca went, she had laundry to do...

Anyway, I'm wondering whether the "two track" road is the same road as the "seasonal road" but I'm doubting it because the seasonal road didn't appear it'd be a rutty, although I suppose it could get that way further into the woods.
It could be, the seasonal could mean that it is too muddy, etc. at certain times of the year. It well could be otherwise though just a path that isn't even on a map.

I don't know why but that possibility never crossed my mind. It is one that makes sense though as she was almost full term and that's what they are generally looking for... Fortunately, it is not overly common but does happen as we've seen such cases...

Yonks is UK slang for years. No we don't have liquid Tide AFAIK. Formil is Lidl own brand non bio powder here in UK.

It sounds like when in labor, she called mom and the two women picked her up, mom and Kimmy right? Probably to take her to the hospital and is this when they had errands also or some such?

But then Amber says is it her last call meaning the mom last called Amber to say not to let her get into a vehicle? Probably until they got there? Then later she gets into a vehicle at mom's?

These people's statements are NEVER clear, first mom's and now hers. Talk about confusing reporting, why don't they ask questions and clarify things?

So she helped Amber move all weekend, then was in labor, and then with mom until leaving in a vehicle with someone picking her up.

Where is the bf in all of this? Did she try calling him first when in labor? Was she staying with mom?

It's all about as clear as mud.

So we know who was in the vehicle that she got into? I'm so confused!
It's definitely confusing. I take it as no, we don't know. She got into a vehicle with mom and Kimmy (whoever that is) but the mom told Amber not to let her get in a vehicle with anyone else. I take it to me until they got there to pick her up not to let her get into another vehicle... Later, when they got to mom's she did get into a vehicle with someone and it isn't know who that person is.

That's the way I'm taking it anyhow.

Unknowingly, I mean, it just seemed to be what to do, lol. I think I was somewhere around 8.

I think the friend was talking about what happened over the weekend, not what happened on the Monday Becca was missing.
