Circumstances of Discovery
The victim’s skeletal remains were discovered on April 23, 1990 in a wooded area east of Clyde Morris Boulevard, approximately 1 ½ miles north of Strickland Range Road, along a path that leads from Clyde Morris Boulevard to Avenue D in the Daytona Pines subdivision. The official cause of death was undetermined, but it is strongly believed she was strangled with the nylon slip that was still tied around her neck upon her discovery. Her wrists were also bound with rope. Information about the skeletal and dental remains have been compared with state and national missing persons reports, but so far have yielded no clues to the identity of the victim. She was first reconstructed in 2000 with clay, which did trigger some tips from the public. In 2015, digital renderings were also released to provide an updated approximation of the woman.Investigating Agency(s)
