CROMWELL, Okla. (KFOR) – Investigators say a 2-year-old girl from Cromwell, Oaklee Snow, hasn’t been seen for nearly seven weeks.

“I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy,” said Zack Snow, Oaklee’s father. “I’ve been on my phone day in, day out. I mean, you know, contacting and trying to find somebody that might know where she’s at.”

According to Seminole County investigator J.T. Palmer, the toddler’s mother, Madison Marshall, left Cromwell with Oaklee and her and Snow’s 7-month-old son, Coleton, and eventually took off to Indiana with her ex-boyfriend Roan Waters. This happened around Jan. 19.

“They were with their mother,” said Palmer. “She has custody. There is no court orders and there was no proof that they were in danger.”

Palmer says according to authorities in Indianapolis, on Feb. 9, witnesses saw Oaklee being carried out of what he was told was a “crack house.”

“They described it as she was either asleep or unconscious. She wasn’t moving,” said Palmer. “She was wrapped in a blanket.”

Marshall allegedly said Oaklee was hurt and needed to go to a hospital, which is where she claimed she was taking her.

However, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

“We have no knowledge of where she’s at, we just know that she did not make it to the hospital that night,” said Palmer.

“No hospitals had any record of Oaklee ever being turned in,” added April Kelley, a close family friend.

Meanwhile, Palmer said Coleton was abandoned on the house’s couch. Thanks to someone there calling authorities, the 7-month-old was picked up by CPS and is now in Snow’s custody.

On Feb. 27, Roan Waters was arrested at a Colorado motel. Authorities there told KFOR his mugshot cannot be released yet because of the ongoing investigation.

“He was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Okfuskee County that was not connected to this case,” said Palmer.

Just last week, Marshall was arrested in Harnett County, North Carolina for child abandonment.

However, there still hasn’t been any sign of Oaklee. Palmer says the Indianapolis Police Department is currently investigating where she may be.

“We are keeping our hopes alive that she comes home to us safe and sound,” said Kelley.

Oaklee stands about 2 feet tall, weighs about 40 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who knows anything is asked to contact the Indianapolis Police Department or the Seminole Police Department.

Baby girl's mom to plead guilty in her death, agrees to testify against boyfriend in Indianapolis

The mother of Oaklee Snow has agreed to plea guilty to neglect in the 1-year-old's death. In 2023, Oaklee's body was found in a dresser in a rural Morgan County home months after she was reported missing.

On Friday, April 25, Madison Marshall agreed to plea guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death and neglect of a dependent. Her change of plea hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 1.

As part of her deal with prosecutors, Marshall agreed to testify against Roan Waters, who was her boyfriend when Oaklee died. Waters is charged with murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, neglect of a dependent and battery. Waters trial is scheduled to begin May 12.

According to the plea deal, prosecutors will seek to have Marshall sentenced to at least 25 years in prison. That would be for the neglect resulting in death charge. She would also get a two-year sentence for neglect, but that would run at the same time as the 25-year sentence, so it would not add to her total prison time.

As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors will drop several other neglect charges and a charge for assisting a criminal who committed murder.

Not sure what to even say. On one hand, she's taking some responsibility and testifying against him but also working a deal for self. At a point can't read a lot of this and know I should recognize the signs and take a break, especially from the baby/kid ones.

No charges or sentences seem high enough to me. More than ours got though which was digusting, they took a child out of the world with an entire life ahead.

Anyhow, not sure whether to give her credit for actually pleading to something or not--I'd say more likely was to her benefit and she was worried over what would happen than felt guilt over the child.

Who knows--I can't do the links because I can't take it right now. I'll just see what others say, I miss Mel as she'd have something to say I'm sure.

Guess I'll end with she took some responsibility and has to testify against him. I guess. Not going to read any triggering things right now.

Oaklee Snow: Boyfriend accepts plea deal in case of toddler found dead in dresser

The man believed to be directly responsible for the death of 1-year-old Oaklee Snow has accepted a plea deal, according to court records.

Last month, Marshall pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death, a Level 1 felony, and neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony. As part of the plea deal, Marshall agreed to testify against Waters.

Court records show that Waters agreed to plead guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death, a Level 1 felony, along with two counts of neglect of a dependent as a Level 6 felony. As part of the plea deal, his murder charge was dropped.

The plea deal carries a 45-year sentence for Waters. By accepting the plea, Waters waives his right to appeal any sentence imposed by the court.

The court accepted Waters’ plea deal on Wednesday and set Waters’ sentencing hearing for June 13.

So neither will have a murder conviction. Doesn't seem right. For me it will largely depend on how early each can try to get out I guess. If sentences were true, it would be different.
