NJ MARK HIMEBAUGH: Missing from Del Haven, NJ - 25 Nov 1991 - Age 11 (1 Viewer)

I was trying to find the information about the 10 year old and the radio. I know it's this case. I think the boy's first name was Carl. I remember some finger-pointing at parenting. Whether it was Mark or the other boy. I can't be sure. I have to find that article. I read this information for myself. AWWWWW ☹️😣😖😫🤬 CRACKERS!!!!

Well psh. That's nothing new. I am of the strong opinion it was "Butcavage". There's a brushfire at the end of November. He goes to watch. Just vanishes. One shoe is found. To me that seems like he was snatched. I don't see any other scenarios brought forth credible. Such as, He was accidentally killed by the fire, And other was covered up. Or he died in the fire and his body was thrown into the ocean. They sound ridiculous.

And Mark's father, who had been (allegedly)abusing him for years, knew Butcavage. Weird coincidence. Source is the book of MacHale.

For those like me who went searching to see more about the suspect:
Butcavage, a convicted sex offender, is one of several persons of interest in Himebaugh’s disappearance in November of 1991 near his Middle Township home. Some people who knew Butcavage believe there’s a strong resemblance between him and the sketch of a man spotted talking with Himebaugh shortly before he vanished.
“Mr. Butcavage’s name has been out in the media previously so that’s why we feel comfortable responding to any inquiries about him,” Chief Leusner said.
A 1993 report from the Philadelphia Inquirer detailed how Butcavage’s Haverford Township home was searched after a tip from a male prostitute linked him to the Himebaugh case. Butcavage’s lawyer said his client denied having any involvement however. NBC10 obtained court records showing Butcavage pleaded guilty to numerous sex crimes involving underage boys in Chester County six years later. He remains in prison.

34 Years Ago Today, Mark Himebaugh Disappeared in Middle Township, NJ

34 years ago today, Himebaugh disappeared.

On November 25, 1991, 11-year-old Mark Himebaugh was walking towards a playground in Del Haven, Middle Township, and he hasn't been seen since.

According to Middle Township Police, a park guard was the last person to see him at about 4:00 that afternoon.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says of the case,

An extensive search resulted in the discovery of the child's left shoe approximately 75 yards from his home. No other trace of the child has been found. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, a gray jacket, gray pants, and sneakers. He has freckles.

Mark's mother, Maureen, said on that day she told her son she was dropping off a neighbor to pick up a car at a repair shop in Middle Township. He didn't want to go with her because a fire had broken out in town and he wanted to watch what was happening.

When she returned, there was no trace of Mark.

Since Mark’s disappearance, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has generated several age-progression photos. The picture at the top of this article is what he may look like today as a man in his 40s.

The Middle Township Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, and the FBI continue to investigate Mark's disappearance.
