A mother in Orange County is begging for help locating her missing daughter.

Madeline ‘Maddie’ Soto was last seen on Monday, one day after she and her family celebrated her 13th birthday. Maddie’s mother, Jenn Soto, said surveillance video shows Maddie hanging out in a church parking lot on February 26 after being dropped off for school, but she never made it inside.

"I’m trying to hope for the best, but I’m scared for her," said Jenn Soto. "I want her to be okay; I want her to be safe… I don’t want her to come back harmed. I just want her back – whatever that means, I just want her back."

Jenn Soto said sheriff’s deputies are using K9s and a piece of Maddie’s clothing to try to track her scent near Town Loop Boulevard.

According to Jenn Soto, Maddie had never run away before. She said the teen had forgotten her cell phone at home that morning, but that was normal.

As of Wednesday morning, a variety of search teams are out searching for Maddie.

Yeah, it rings a bell with me too, at least I recall talking of some type of prescribed med/s or some such, can't recall how such came up though. I guess just because these docs are only coming out now, it doesn't mean it wasn't brought up in court or somewhere or in an interview... His dad said he was off of some drug or out of it didn't he...? That might be what I'm thinking of instead.

I gather it isn't easy to get although the creator did say you can buy a faked prescription online, take it to a pharmacy and get it filled. I had no idea people could do such a thing but shouldn't surprise me.

I don't know that I recall the things about Discord? A lot of YTers used to use Discord or have members go to it. I don't hear much about it any longer. I think it was a place they could discuss more freely and not worry about strikes from YT for saying a banned term or something. I never used it so don't know too much about it. I do think though it has good as well as bad people using it to discuss who knows what.

Yeah, I think the drug was likely for Maddie, not clear if he received it on time, it was just touched on last night about the show tonight which will have more. Or maybe it didn't work as he'd hoped so he had to kill her. It does make it seem more likely she was threatening to tell or some such. That has been speculated as we know, plenty.

Oh and I almost forgot, there's something about Jen suing some entities or something, don't quote me. And that her grandmother I think it is possibly paying to help her hide. I'm not certain where that comes from and I almost forgot about it. Certainly could be speculation in that case maybe.

@Regina Here is the link, coming up in about 5 to 10 minutes. She is new to me, don't know if you will like her. But I've watched two shows, and she's really good about answering questions in chat, I kind of like her pretty much no speculation thing, she does vape on camera but I have no problem with that, to each their own, so far I'm okay with her. She has the documents, goes by facts mostly from what I've seen so far. Of course if you can't catch the live, the video will be there after and forever as in most cases.

I went back to hear the police interview with Sterns' parents re the med issue and the way it comes across is that Sterns wasn't stressed because he was out of a med but for some other reason.
Anyway, his father mentioned it because he found it "odd", that there seemed to be "something worrisome" that made Sterns ""very upset".
(Just as a reminder, this was the evening prior to Sterns driving to Kissimmee the next day.)

I recall the father also saying he was (my words) like agitated, snappy at them, displaying anger, etc. So he may have even explained that or the parents thought it was because he was off a med or some such.

Why he killed her is I think the most likely reason is she was going to tell and/or she insisted he STOP what he was doing with her.

I didn't watch this show to the end. It was only the third I've watched of hers. The last one was on Rebecca Park and i thought she did a pretty good show on that one. I'm not sold on the creator yet.

However, you know, I've been in the middle about Jen. That creator is convinced Jen was a part of things. She also has had contact with HIS parents and you now they are anti Jen BUT it doesn't stop the creator from coming down on SS. She has some very good points of why she stronly thinks J was part of this all.

It swayed me a bit past the middle as they were some very good points. Some I've wondered about, some I never knew of or picked up on.

Yah, I just mentioned above dad talked of SS being off, worried and I think angered easily, etc.
