Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *TRIAL IN PROGRESS*

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

So been listening to this a fair amount today. Muted it to watch the presser on LISK about Peaches and baby, not that it is known whether he killed them or not.

It's so funny to watch chats. And the bias.

Anyhow one thing I thought I would mention is in Daybell for instance, and I believe how it is most places, the P questions when their side is up, the D then gets to cross, then the P can come back on redirect once within the scope and that's it. Here today, the D got to go again a second time. Kind of weird. Then I watched the LISK thing and so on and not sure if P was allowed a third time or not.

I watched/listened to most of this. My heart has been breaking lately over more than one case. She broke my heart again. Too many tears.

I listened to most today.

I did pause the trial for the Peaches press conference.

Before trial even started, the D was in trouble for new stuff they wanted to bring in that they hadn't shared and need Voir Dire on. And rightfully so in my opinion.

Chats are well, something else being some fall for imo the crap of the D. No offense to anyone.

A decision will come tomorrow morning on some of Karen Read's own recorded words....

Funny how she wants to talk to press and you name it but pick and choose her statements as the P put it and which can come in.
 
Which is the best media to follow for the court testimonies and transcripts? I posted the one upthread. Are they the best or are there any others?
 
I'll try a few different ones till I find the best. There's a good photo of the broken tail light section. Clearly shows it was a sideways blow. That would not have come from backing into a vehicle.

I have been preoccupied in my own world LO.L.So I totally had court on and did not pay attention to anything That happened today.I just looked up and was like oh quartz over for the day....oh lol

But I gotta say one thing since I live here This is fairly local to me ..... The way that the free Karen read people behave is unlike anything I've ever saying here.No I don't think that she's guilty either and I didn't before, but just the way that turtle boy and these idiot people have.It is like it makes new england the laughing stock of the country

Just my humble local opinion

I live 50 minutes north of Boston in nh

Then you also have the Commonwealth that is blatantly showing their lack of investigating nearly anything.

Turtle Boy is a disgusting idiot. I do happen to think she is guilty but I am fine with varying opinions, always am. I think both sides have been ridiculous with the extent they have gone with it. I never thought they likely had the proof to show she did it intentionally for one, so i did feel it overcharged, but she also was clearly claiming her own guilt in the beginning and has also taken it too far. I agree it has brought a lot of focus on the area and not made it look good. I recognize the lack of a perfect investigation and cops, etc. who kind of help themselves, but to me that doesn't make her not guilty.

The degree this has went to is absolutely insane. Not that every victim doesn't matter, every single one does to me.

I can take or leave this at times. I listened most of yesterday, today I never got around to it.

People are not nice to each other over it and their opinions either. It is as bad as politics and I have to wonder if some of such is behind some of the things.

I don't like news and such being run by agendas or being played and used. And that big time has went on in this case.

Yesterday there was an argument about statements she made coming in and the P said she wants to pick and choose which of her statements can come in, I mean she gets on news and says things and wants some of those in, but then not some when it happened and so on.

I'm disgusted by it all but do keep abreast of it most of the time. SHE is so disgusting to me I can barely stand seeing her face, just being honest, and her D team too, but particularly her.

Just my opinion and no one has to share it, I'm a big girl, opinions differ. I watched his mom yesterday. I can't imagine being that family. And going through this. I think I might one this one GONE more than Daybell.

People need to though quit falling for the new D BS imo and use of YT and news and shows and you name it. This cockamaney story came out later.

Again it is jmo and not speaking for anyone else nor expecting all to agree.

There is only one thing I can think of in my hometown area that they had reason to be just a bit embarrassed about. I can't imagine people going through something like this.

The last chat I ever participated in some guy was telling me Turtleboy isn't that bad. Give me a BREAK. YES he is.

Brennan is good. I watched most pretrial hearings. I guess we will see. Let's say even if she goes free? I hope she is stuck forever having to give love to Turtleboy and her rabid fans.

I guess that makes my opinion pretty clear. I also wonder how he even put up with her. I am not usually like that towards women but... Can't stand her.

Of course this is not directed at you or anyone nor does anyone need to share the opinion, this case is just ridiculous.

I feel for his family.

I agree LE needs to be CLEAN, especially these days or it gets used against them by even what I feel to be guilty people. So I'm a big in the middle on that stuff. I think her guilty but yeah, Proctor, etc. left themselves open to this fairytale.

How exactly were they covering for their own unless you think one of them liked him? How does your theory of them covering for her for with them not investigating their actual own? She was not one of them and they made it blatantly obvious she was not.

I do believe they were covering for their actual own by the lead investigators own texts basically saying he was doing exactly that.

If they were covering for her, why would they "find" her taillight pieces and why submit a blatantly manufactured video and lie about it and nobody being hear that taillight in the Sally port?

I've already addressed that and so has Brennan. And who did she call to go running around with her? And even KEPT her from driving in her state?

We are not going to agree on this one, I know it and you definitely do as well.

We do agree on some things if you recognize it at all, in some, like good ol boy things and such.

I've watched a ton on this and not just the defense driven narrative as well as the hearings.

Listen to someone else about the VIDEOS. Plural. And where the D is at and what the truth is. Not some bunch of b.s. PR crap. Just saying.

And we don't have to agree. Obviously we don't.

I have said and will say again both sides have gotten overboard.

They wanted her brought to account for what happened. They covered the crime scene, collected the evidence and she admitted she did it. Open and shut case for them. Still have not see this manufactured video you are on about so am watching out for that when it comes up. So far the video we have seen in this retrial shows his body right where LE said it was. Near the flagpole and the fire hydrant and roadside, with a shoe missing. His phone under his body recorded the time and the falling temperature as he died. Very sad nobody found him earlier as he would have lived IMO.

Can't recall it all but Scott had a very good show about the videos and some defense motion this time around the the BS it is and how he is changing HIS opinion.

Some think YTers are idiots but he is a busy PRACTICING attorney. Not a junk channel.

It's all there. Wasn't perfect, of course but it's there. The facts.

This case is never going to be agreed on by many. I just try to watch the hearings, the testimony and someone sane that hasn't fallen for the blizzard by KR and her D team.

It is pretty much obvious what happened but they have to go thru some motions. She should have just taken it on the chin and taken a plea. Stardom has gone to her head. The similarities between her and Lori Daybell are interesting. Now she could have defended herself but didn't.

OMG I am starting to class her with Lori. They are both about as disgusting as the other, and I see others saying that too.

D was in trouble for discovery violations.

She did it, she knows she did it, she said she did it, and then tried to ever since change the story.

She is starting to look as hardened as Lori too although she hasn't spent near the same amount of time in jail.

She's DISGUSTING to me at least.

Drunken rage. Jealousy.

All should have dealt yes and made a deal. It's ridiculous, a mockery of the system and a waste of resources. She just can't take her lumps. Idiot Jackson though is making his tons off it. The team is just as disgusting to me. Unethical as it comes.
 
There's no evidence he ever got further than that kerbside then he was covered by the snow and died of hypothermia and blunt force trauma. It is a very sad situation, especially when you think how many were partying inside and could have saved him if they had known sooner. Death a result of a drunken row and an angry, drunk driver.
