Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *NOT GUILTY* (Guilty of OUI) (45 Viewers)

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

I remember the accusation that the police tried to commit Read- I remember a video of some man on the courthouse steps ranting and raving through a bullhorn about how awful Read was treated by the police when it was actually Read's father who'd contacted the police for help because Read was talking about killing herself!
Now, I haven't heard that particular accusation since then- I think that was before the first trial- but it's an example of the bs fed to supporters.

Last I checked, nobody was forcing anybody to comment on this thread, or any thread, nor is anybody that states they are tired of this case being forced to read about it. Seems easy enough for people unhappy with how this case went to not participate in it.

I am not a Read supporter. I'm a justice supporter. Don't you think that the jurors had the best look at ALL of the evidence? Both of them. They saw what @Guess Who and I also saw.

It's useless to argue with people who don't have all the facts presented to the jury, but still believe she's guilty.

The people with the greatest look at everything didn't see it. How can you say they're mistaken based on a lot less evidence?

You need to let it go. I for one dont believe she was being railroaded. After all, she did it. She knew where to find him but by the time she did anything it was too late. That will haunt her the rest of her life. She is one lucky defendant to get away with killing someone and just getting probation.

You may have forgot that dashcam video from a police vehicle at John's that morning (to see about the kids) shows the state of Read's broken taillight.
Also- you may not know that she spoke about her, herself, having picked out broken pieces of taillight from near the lightbulb.

Yeah i remember and have seen it a couple of times but some people want to believe that LE smashed it and planted the shards in his clothes and face, even though she stated she pulled a piece out of his nose. How did that get in his nose?

Even the jury knew she was drunk though so she is guilty. She knows it too. People can treat her like an innocent saint but it is false. She literally got away with murder. The civil case is still to be heard too, unless she settles. If its true they only want $50k, then she should do a deal.

There's no doubt in my mind that all of us are justice supporters!
I can't speak to what others think or say and ultimately it doesn't matter to me but what does matter to me is learning the facts, which is precisely what I did.

We didn't see the same thing.
Had there been no snowfall, all of the pieces would have been found and collected that morn, that is, minus any Read described as still inside the housing and hindering the light.

Oh I recall THAT WELL. Daddy rushed to save her pulling that. I thought of it when I was watching him the other day. I'd like to hear from dad about raising her and her mental health and alcohol reliance.

And yes, I know there is no point in talking with her supporters, it is why I've always danced in and out. And still do.

I've only seen it in a few cases and it is beyond logic and ridiculous. Imo.

Scott was a good one to watch because even though his own chat was getting dominated by a couple of supporters, he called it out and how they aren't using their intelligence or something on that order as they are just over the top gone. Mike from Profiling Evil was another. He's not necessarily a fave of mine due to some other reasons I won't mention, but he too was calling out common sense on the ridiculous D theory, etc And he had some fans mad at him OF COURSE but they stood up with the facts

I dont want to get into it with anyone here but the two sides are never going to agree so I just quit at times. I am so beyond SICK of this case and how far she took it. As if she is the only defendant in the entire country. I am beyond sorry for his family but I am FAR more interested in Barry Morphew being arrested.

There are PLENTY of people that think KR is guilty. Sometimes they are not as loud as the ones wanting to stuff the other stuff down people's throats but sometimes they are. It's a rabid bunch at times. Just depends. I respect other opinions but I'm not trying to convince anyone else to share mine. And others need to quit trying to do vice versa. What's the point in that?

I'm ready for her face to be off camera and go live with her awful self. Knowing her she will now seek camera. I'm safe if it is TV as I don't watch it, and I am safe if it is Dumb Turtleboy as I don't watch him either.

The investigation was flawed, I have never ever denied that.

No one imo should be trying to convince others of their own opinion at this point. We all know I think it is not going to do any good with people decided on both sides.

Yeah, they pretty much just said they can't be sure, not like they don't think she maybe did it.

I don't know how it works there but if I recall correctly you can sue for a certain amount but a jury can award you like 20 times that, etc.
Hopefully it's that way. That's if the parents are ready for it after all they have been through.

I find it a bit funny too for all her supporters, somehow none of them helped save her home, her jobs and so on. They talk big and profit themselves but that's about it. Imo.
