Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *NOT GUILTY* (Guilty of OUI) (8 Viewers)

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

It is very much like the stupid O thing in Delphi. I'm sorry and dont want to argue with others out there, but come on, they have to make up this and then that and later on to try to come up with a defense and it's very obvious but some fall for it. Not trying to insult anyone that does but not me. It came later, and just as you are pointing out it doesn't work.

Will be interesting to see how it shakes out but this time around is definitely not going to be the same.

She is obvious and she's SICKENING.

You made good points and their story isn't going to fly easy imo. Not this time.

Was watching a bit earlier and they put her on the screen and I can't stand to even look at her. I guess that's bias but I only came to feel that way after watching her behavior over these years.

I've never argued with that part. I think she did it but I think they were all people out partying, in power, LE, you name it, drinking, etc. But a bad "cop" doesn't make for an innocent defendant.

Said in various threads that like LE needs to keep noses clean these days because Ds are starting to use it as if okay maybe cop is helping self or friends a bit, but D uses it on them to try to
get a defnedant off.

To me this whole house story is absolutely ridiculous. And dog. And what not. Jmo though. Some buy into it, I do NOT and never have

I do though agree that LE needs to keep their noses clean these days, things are changing and we all talk and so do all online and so on, so don't go into the job and if you do, you better keep your sh*t clean. I think that's one thing to be taken from this.

Most that I've ever known of to this day get hired in especially smaller areas as they are a buddy, not because they are the most qualified. It sure at least always was that way, and many still holding positions.

I have my opinion of what happened here, shared maybe some over time, not sure, but not all I don't think.

He is a state trooper but I think some or all of us could tell some stories about our own local cops even... Still, they are on the crimes, even if a bit for themselves perhaps in the positions, doesn't mean the perp did not do it.

It still does not mean the "defendant" didn't do the crime.

Someday perhaps I'll give all of what I think but imo of course KR did this.

The house story is ridiculous and it came well after.

LOL we need some lightness in this thread and others at times but heck it's active anyhow.

My cats have been just odd lately. But this boy has scratched the bedroom door frame for one his entire life since I have had him. Then I have these I'd say nice shape probably antique cane back kitchen chairs and seats and every time I turn around he is scratching the heck out of and ruining one of them. Like you, going through a lot healthwise and all I can do to even keep up in life but I have to get after him daily several times. There are something like FIVE cat trees in my apt and the better behaved cat scratches on those posts and does not try to destroy the apartment or good chairs!!

Although the last week or so he did try to destroy all the Bounty paper towel package and he is my GOOD BOY generally, haven't seen him do anything like that in a long time and I caught him at it more than once.

This is a case no one will ever agree on imo. Some lightness though sure doesn't hurt on occasion. At least imo.

I have my own theory not like that... I think the dog perhaps of course was let out, dogs need to be let out no? I mean they don't have litter boxes like cats... Just some food for thought... Dog attack or maybe even try to save... I have more but I will save it for another time..

Very possible if he was in a weak state. Could he have yelled out startled the dog causing it to run over and attack

Yeah, I think also dog could have instinctively even tried to save, pull him--or attack of course... One or the other. I mean did no one let the dog out ever with people in and out and dogs need to pee for goodness sakes. So even IF a dog bite, it sure doesn't mean the D story is right and again, jmo, I think it ridiculous. And as always, no one has to agree with me.

Karen was telling anyone who listened that she hit him with her car. Why would they look in the house when the evidence said he never made it to the house. Why would Jen McCabe go on a wild goose chase if she had seen him come in the house? She saw the car and looked for him coming in (evidence from the texts and her testimony) but he never did. And she was there for 2 hours after that. Then she got a call a few hours later from Karen saying he hadn't come home and did she hit him. When they get to the house, Karen then runs straight to where JO lay when neither of the other two saw anything.

I just think it's very realistic to think the dog had to go out sometime that night or more than once. Everyone is partying or most and probably all. I don't see the dog on a leash and walked to pee for some reason. Just my thoughts.

I do think the dog may have even been trying to save him and pull him. Just one of my thoughts of what I think...

I guess it could have had a kennel in the garage. Guess we will have to see if they mention the dog this time.

Yep she hit him, she said it to more than one person and supposedly they are ALL corrupt? I just don't get how people can believe that.

Yes, KR knew exactly where he was. Listening to the kids' testimony in last trial was worthwhile too. Not a soul here would tell me about it so I went and found it, because I guess it didn't fit those that think her innocent. And other's testimony as well.

And there is NOTHING odd about talking to people after a horrific event. I could give an entire conversation about that. One day. Don't need to do it now or sidetrack.

Well since I watched the pretrial things, pretty sure the dog bite expert for the D was allowed so something will come up re the dog, not sure what all.

People think or some do the judge one sided but she allowed that for the D in this trial.

Jackson is going to go on forever. Getting tired of him. Lol doesn't take long.

I have seen no evidence he got past the kerb where they found one of his shoes.
