This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

I expected a not guilty verdict.

I highly doubt that another trial will take place. By the time they'd be ready, the FBI will probably have completed their investigation, and it won't look good for the prosecution.

I think the prosecution greatly presented too much evidence myself.

A simple "she accidentally backed into him and the dog heroically tried to drag him to safety" would have actually been believable. "It's a tragedy but hey".

Leave out all the rubbish and it might have worked.
