Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events
  • April 3, 2018 - Tylee Ryan's father, Joseph Ryan, dies. Death ruled heart attack.
  • December 2018 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow make first appearance on Preparing a People podcast.
  • February 2019 - Charles Vallow files for divorce from Lori, claiming she viewed herself as a god preparing for the second coming, and she would kill him if he got in her way.
  • February - April 2019 - Lori disappears for nearly two months, leaving her children with others.
  • June 2019 - Lori's niece demands a divorce from her husband, who says she shares similar beliefs to her aunt.
  • July 11, 2019 - Charles Vallow shot and killed by Lori's brother Alex Cox. Shooting initially ruled self-defense.
  • August 2019 - Lori moves to Rexburg, Idaho with kids
  • September 3, 2019 - Joshua "JJ" Vallow enrolled in school
  • September 23, 2019 - JJ last attended school
  • September 24, 2019 - Lori unenrolls JJ from school, saying she would be homeschooling him.
  • September 2019 - Tylee also seen in September, but it's unclear when and where (she had graduated early)
  • October 2, 2019 - Lori's niece's ex-husband was shot at, missing his head by inches. Shooter was driving a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow.
  • October 9, 2019 - Tammy Daybell, Chad's wife, called 911 and said a masked man shot at her with a paintball gun.
  • October 19, 2019 - Tammy Daybell dies, death is ruled natural
  • October 25, 2019 - Tylee, or someone using her phone, texts a friend
  • Late October / Early November 2019 - Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow get married
  • November 26, 2019 - Welfare check requested for JJ at the request of extended family - police are told he is in Arizona with family, but he is not
  • November 27, 2019 - Police return to serve a search warrant, finding the Daybell's gone
  • December 12, 2019 - Lori's brother, who had shot her ex-husband, dies mysteriously in Arizona
  • December 20, 2019 - Search for JJ and Tylee goes public
  • December 30, 2019 - LE says Lori knows where her children are but will not cooperate
  • January 25, 2020 - Chad & Lori are located in Hawaii, served with a notice that she must produce the children within 5 days
  • January 30, 2020 - Lori fails to produce JJ and Tylee

I'm not looking for the juror polling, I'm looking for the verdict delivery just prior to that.
I saw the polling. That's not the same thing. I can't get a view of the verdict delivery. And people's reactions.

I think the audio wasnt working for the actual verdict then it went into the polling of each juror and the audio started. It is worth listening as they discuss the sentencing too.

Because of the camera position all you see is the back of Lori"s head. It is certainly not a great feed but there in nothing else available that i have seen. Maybe others can post what/how they saw/heard it.

The only hope I have is maybe the court an provide a feed in a day or two or a clip.

I'm sick to death of the back of Lori's ugly head lol. Seen plenty of that.

I think it was Colby that says it as a Google fail or some such and then YT is run by that and so on. It was big.

Maybe Lori got Zulema busy but lol regardless they couldn't stop justice.

A juror. I am in progress watching it. Very interesting already. I will always watch a juror, etc. They were there. They made the decision.

@Tresir This should help you some He said it was the last maybe two days they finally gave them enough info to REALLY tie Lori in, it was clear to them Alex had done it but wanting Lori tied in to Alex in conspiracy got tied together at the end for them and the info given as Treena often does, at least for him. He talks of how Lori came across and how many facts she didn't address and the way she ignored things but just hung onto the color of the Jeep, etc. It's worth it. He's fairly animated starting to find out the other things about her and all of them.

Seems like little doubt when it all wrapped.

He very much explains how the last two days really brought it together. The video at the storage thing was big. Lots of things. Some thought her guilty before that. Etc.

I'd recommend all watching.

 
He covers motive too @Tresir and how much it mattered and what he thought, another thing you were concerned about. They got it. Juries usually do imo.
 
This guy is smart. He got the cell phone etc. stuff too like Verizon versus Google. He put it just right that maybe they couldn't place her right in Walmart and different things but she was still IN ID Falls when Alex was, etc., not in Rexburg.

It's just all interesting and good. Impressed with this jury from this first knowledge of them.

You bet. It truly covers a lot of what you wondered and doubted and he pretty much told his thoughts along all that. For that and other reasons, i think you will find it interesting. He noticed things you mentioned or worried about but also he picked up on things that explained such which maybe you missed some of in trial. There were almost no doubts here. With this jury. And it was wrapped well for them in the last couple of days. And Lori just did not add up to them. There were many things she never tried to explain and so on. It is an hour but worth it, actual jurors on cases are the best watch there is imo.

That's kind of been brewing hasn't it?

Daybell is over anyhow. Probably be a few weeks of maybe getting jurors, or talking to detectives and prosecutors but no trial ongoing. I have a feeling Lori may keep filing some things but big deal.

Read is "kind of" finished but not really. I'm ready for it too and to turn to other things even with more fast coming up like Kohberger, Richins, others. Have to keep my own life from fallign apart, not sure if can even do. Hopefully Read will go today.

The world conflicts? So many have went on forever. People like you and I have seen it forever. Not a thing they've ever done (world leaders) at any time have solved such. Their ways and and solutions never work. Doesn't matter who they are or what era. We hae seen it over and over and over and over. I care but as far as solutions by at least some leaders, it is like forget it.

This has been brewing.
I don't spend a lot of time on such but know enough. I don't have a lot of patience sometimes if people haven't seen such for years go on. Or have never Wdelved deeper than MSM. I don't mean you.

I'm glad our people are being removed. Very glad in fact. Not all would do that.

I don't think sadly we can affect a lot of world things like that. When young I thnk one thinks they can. Nowadays when young they think they can by doing nothing and just spoutingi off or something. At least back when people tried.

Anyhow, I stay abreast but not really my thing. If you are going to center on it, I get it and it probably looks different from your side of the world. I've been here before, I care, but WE are not going to stop anything and we are dependent in some cases on idiots for leaders, not in all. I'm sorry but after enough years so long as we can protect ourselvles on our soil, and have leaders willing to do that, that's the best I hope for. And we sure can step in outright or behind the scenes still too. I'm sick to death of it and sometimes what happens, happens. Nothing in the history of our country or yours and so on has ever stopped Israel and Palestine. Terrorist groups have grown. Countries arm and help some of them.

What idiots. Nothing has worked yet in the history of my life. My mother's even.

Not here for politics. Or wars. Although I will touch on at times. But I understand those that want to be. I prefer to just stick to cases that are far more singular and their victims.

Got more longwinded there than I meant to lol. But most of this sh*t is anything new nor any surprise and it's been allowed to happen.

It still shocks me though. Daughter was visiting last few days so was discussing it this a.m. She just left so will be catching up on here and be able to listen to the juror thingy now.
