JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

I thought this juror was more credible. I do have to say I’m not familiar with this podcaster although I’ve heard that the families really like her. Why does she continue to turn her camera on and off? It’s annoying because I get distracted wondering what she might be doing. 😂Thankfully I’m listening more than watching.

I always watch the juror stuff, usually LE and P and such interviewed, etc. a good part through this. And yes, worthwhile. I don't care what channel on, if I see such people on, i will watch it, etc.

There was some chitchat about what these channels are gonna do after this next case is over and here’s what “silver linings” is planning.

At the 14:30 mark they were also talking about a possible project. They are thinking about doing AI “interviews”. The example they share is how they ask “Alex” a question with AI and they get his AI response. Both of them said it almost sounds like Alex‘s voice. It’s interesting. They said it was creepy, but I just thought it was interesting.

Lori should have hired a better lawyer.

I watched this actually... don't really know how I feel about it. Thought it was creepy myself about what Alex would say and so on. I've seen a bit of cool sh*t with AI but thought this really dumb, creepy and it has to start with things that someone put in there so chance of bias.

Anyhow, I don't know--guess I will see, if I bother, where they go from hereon out. For me, not sure I am going to bother yet.

That first thing is what I remember could be a ground of appeal. He appeared to know that she was serving 3 life sentences when he drove home the first night.

Reason 2 is that Alex and Tylee's statement were not available in the trial.

Reason 3 is a discovery violation.

Reason 4 is a witness statement discrepancy.

Reason 5 is the judge struck her witnesses Eaton and Boudreux and also how he struck some religious testimony.

I just quickly precised Nates video so could have missed stuff.

I don't care how they continue getting their revenue stream. Is that all they care about? They have the Boudreux trial to follow anyway. Plus a possible retrial.

I think the part that intrigues me is what they think he would have said, since they knew him. Then again, how much does anyone really know about another person? I know I've been horribly fooled on many occasions in my life.

I thought it was like night before on first thing but if watch the HTC one he is trying to say he didn't know but he kind of I don't know skirts it a bit and is trying to of course explain now, hard to explain.

Per law I guess, their statements should not have been available, have to see how that all comes out but seems to be the law... Reason 2.

Reason 3 and 4 I forget the details but I did watch and such and recall thinking not
likely to fly.

Far as Nate and Boudreaux well I just dont' think Lori knows her law and judge does but who knows... She did have advisory counsel... A lot of pretrial stuff was like not relevant. She wants to tell some personal story that doesn't relate... Imo or wanted to.

I find the whole thing a bit odd. I am thinking a thing or two but holding it back some. I do actually do that at times lol for a few reasons... One of those is where the case or cases may be at. And a few other reasons at times.

I am a bit both ways. Some of my cooking and more life vlog kind of things, over time, a few are irritating me these days and I find them faker than when they started out, that kind of thing. Or they do a show to fit in a sponsor. So on. Kids seem rehearsed and so on. Forgive my lack of complete sentences lol. Anyhow, one part of me gets it, most don't get on line and I don't care on what platform and start a channel or site or you name it just for the fun of it, they hope to make it into something I'd guess in MOST c at tiases. To a point I let it go.

However... in crime and in this case, I just feel a bit differently about it and all family, well several not all maybe, but plenty, seem to be trying to make off it, jump off it, start off it, etc. and it just doesn't always sit right with me at times. Or maybe they just need to try to change the direction a bit and help the church, or explain a bit. I don''t know. It's not the same as when one of my cooking shows maybe seems to have their show planned and a kid running up and saying some cute thing. These were SERIOUS horrid crimes.

Not sure if putting it clearly but I also don't care how they get their revenue but I'm just not sold on them. They were going on about how people are thinking it really weird Rex had lived in 50 places... Then that AI thing... I don't care what they do but I sure don't have to watch if I find I don't like it.

I've been back and forth with a few family members in these cases......

And oh please do not let there be some retrial. So far I don't really see one but one never knows I guess....

I agree a lot. We may even think we know our own family members but I don't think we do like we think we do until times get hard and so on or if willing to talk when older. None of us are in the other's head, lived the other's life, know all their experience, whether friends, family, etc. right? I think that's a very good remark you made there. Hits home with me anyhow.

Yeah they knew him to get back to case... Or knew him more than us anyhow... But as yuou say how well does anyone know anyone? And how they think and/or change as life goes on and so on?

I have had a minimum of probably six, seven talks with my oldest sister this week...??? We talk, text rarely, no problems there, just life, but if both home at my mom's both of us usually stay there like for a holiday and so on as we both travel from out of state. And I mean not that we aren't close, it isn''t that at all. She's ten years older, closer usually was to another sister, all fine but I guess my point is we have talked of so many things under the sun and of course we don't know all another person has lived, experienced, what they were thinking and so on nor all they can share. And that's just talking normal life and man do we have similarities, we snickered quite a bit lol.

Now take someone like Alex sounds and give him a conniving sister who wants people dead.... It's hard to grasp... Because this is all so horrid. I think we can all look at our families and lives and try to understand but it's hard to. I know I sound old but my family had more than I've even shared of what anyone can take in not too many years, and had some misunderstandings through that too, and believe me, I have never shared all. You have it right though, NO ONE knows ANOTHER person, they might think they do... Then add in someone maybe a bit naive like Alex and someone up to someone like Lori, man I can't even imagine....

Now back to Rex and Adam, I'm just not sure. Most of the family, just not sure. Not like I wish them ill, just not so sure. And as you say, how well does anyone know anyone--Rex have know Alex, or Adam? I felt I knew particularly one brother but no one knows each of us or even gets us at times.

And I found that AI thing kind of weird. With what they did with it there. I mean I've seen it is useful for menus, resumes, various things, but for as to what Alex would say, not so sure I'd be into that kind of show.

Tried to not wander much and keep this post mostly together... Just not sold on them. I did give them another watch or two etc. and then hit that weird one.

i hope this makes some sense but I'm just not necessarily sold on anyone in this family and I know you and people have family members who are LDS too but I tell ya, I just have seen a lot on it... I don't doubt SOME just are members but some aren't who want to be higher ups and so on... Not saying either that doesn't go on in any religion but there just seems to be a ton of it in that one.

Not trying to talk of that either as I know it is a no no but some cases it has to be talked of to really talk of them.

Thank you by the way for putting the female juror up, I had NOT seen her. I've had a not great week. But I did manage to listen to all of that interview. I go back and forth on Lauren but yeah, a lot of them trust her, I have more trouble with her hub actually. Yeah, we don't ever all know each other and all we can do is go by what we are shown I guess...

This is hilarious, everyone seriously it's a must watch and I think about 15 minutes if I recall. Don't just listen to the song, the conversation afterwards was pretty fun too.

HTC has a video out, same place as above, that the State slammed back on Lori's motions. I haven't watched it yet, about to. My mouse is about shot and I am limited with a touch pad, can do a few things but don't know how to do all. Anyhow I've seen no hint of this news elsewhere so since I couldn't link it, letting all know. I'd think at least Nate and Justin would cover but haven't seen such but then the algorithm may cause that. Maybe someone can try to find the news on such. I was trying to link but I'm frustrated with the trying and my mouse to link here.

It is worth listening to the HTC one as they are covering the entire state filing PLUS the state put in clips of the juror and video which a written account might not provide.

Thank you for the updates! I’ll watch when I can.
Nate has one on it too after theirs but it is combined with other things I think. This one went into all of it.

Not linking too easily, mouse is being a pain, I am not a touchpad person, I can use it to get around and such and that's about i

Did you hear Lori's song above? It will make for very light moments, the entire thing, I guarantee you lol.

No, it's not something I can do at work due to co-workers, etc and I've been preoccupied at home.
