JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Written timeline of events

This seems crazy. A Fox 10 reporter took over all microphones yet Fox 10 did not have her on but East ID did. Supposedly Nate corraled a juror. Chat is going crazy in almost all.

I'll watch but I may have to just go back and watch some of it as they all are imo scrambling.

Wow, less than 3 hours for the verdict. And a couple thought her not guilty UNTIL closing argument. I said all along it was going to have to be wrapped up GOOD in closing arguments. Brought together.

Some really were not on board with this P but I think she had a lot harder time in this trial and the things to be avoided and Lori pro se.

This is going to go on all night I think. Right now it is a bit crazy still, even Nate I think is trying to beat people to it, etc. A bit excited.

But then who isn't? This is GREAT news!

Listening to Kay I just recall this day for us. Sentencing comes/came later but verdict day is such a relief.

She said Charles would have wanted the trial and such for the others to come first, take care of them first, and later come take care of his justice. I really am going to have to rewatch things as it is all coming just rapid. She defends Chandler PD a bit too.

I didn't catch it all but sounded like a juror or two wondered why Tylee wasn't testifying, thought she would.

I only wish this would end Lori's legal career... The last death we know for SURE of though is now avenged.

Watch until they get home and read up on her. Whoooeeeee.

Great verdict!
Oh I think, it was coming fast and furious, that it was Nate that said a couple jurors did like the minute they were let go, learned about Tylee and more. I really am going to need to go back and watch. No one to watch was real calm so I left it and figure I will go back and watch some tonight and tomorrow.

I agree, great verdict. I mean even if we were secure in that she wouldn't go free, Charles needed justice and Lori needed a slap for thinking she could fool people still easily as she always thought she could. Almost all men and their polling sounded very strong in their answers.

It was nice to have the security that she would be incarcerated regardless but this mattered so much still didn't it?

I think it was probably the harder one to prove in some ways but it was clinched. Short time verdict! People were worried about it being mostly men, I hope some part of her has learned she doesnt have it anymore.

I don't think we will ever see another one like this and/or I sure HOPE we don't.

Yeah, they are going to be reading up on it all night.

I think one man said his gf? or someone was very up on this case but said NOT a word to him knowing they couldn't talk. I went away from all the stuff coming out for the last couple of hours because again it was just a bit not settled and fast and furious.

If she was any kind of person at all, she'd just plead guilty now to Brandon. I doubt that will happen though. However, she hates supposedly the AZ jail.

So did you hear of it in real time? Or close?

I dont like assuming guilt but there was just SO MUCH on these two. Almost NO ONE thinks they aren't guilty. Not much argument. Except maybe Chad's kids.

I had just got home and read it here when I posted. Still on that crazy schedule.

Still about flooding?

Even though much wasn't on during the day, I had to take a break from it after the verdict came in. Just back to watching some of it now as things just erupted after imo. Lots on, lots of links that could be shared. Nate's show still coming up. So on.

Listening to Kay right now, caught part of it earlier but I needed to go back and listen. I had caught some but not all of it.

Yeah someone gave me a head's up that the verdict was in. I wasn't sure I bought it at first because earlier today some were claiming such things in chats and it wasn't true.

Kay is saying which I heard earlier, just didn't hear the whole thing, how it is just time for her to go away to be silent, then kind of corrects to after Brandon's trial.

I agree and wish Lori would just give up and plead guilty to Brandon but she will never do that best guess.

So are you doing a lot of OT? Hoping it eases up a bit for you, though I know you love your job.

I should link a few things lol but just don't have it in me. A very big day really.

Kay is more at a loss for words I think than I've ever seen her. Exhausted probably. I'm not through it and she may get better. I don't mean she's bad, she just is a bit not having easy words. She's getting a bit better as it goes though. Again, just probably exhausted the highs and lows of all of this.

yeah, she's exhausted, pretty much says it. Says to get Larry lol, always willing to talk.

an interesting bit was about talking to jurors. We always meant to talk to one of ours, we didn't know who most were but we knew who one was from LE afterwards I think it was. Just wanted to tell him he got it right and thank him. It is an interesting thing in the system that that can be done after, up to the jurors. We never did though.

Was a good watch but I honestly think emotions of the highs and lows just took their toll.

She did say something about once Nancy Jo made her remark and got away with it with Lori not objecting, she kind of knew that could be done... That was interesting... She insulted Lori a few times and who is not up for that?

This really for some reason resonated today and reminded me of our verdict day. I wasn't sure why at first. Totally different people and events. At first I thought maybe it had just been long enough it brought it back hard, but the other thing is in the last two years of working I haven't been able to watch most trials or verdicts live if at all. I thi k it is her absolute emotional exhaustion and the relief of the verdict that brings that all back. And she's been as she said through six years and three trials. At first I honestly thought she had something wrong with her (healthwise or something), and by the end I just felt I remembered and knew what it was. Not that I've ever forgotten but you try not to stay and dwell on it all the rest of life or you'd NEVER get through.

With her I'm sure all are clamoring for words and interviews which would add a ton more. She got a bit better as it went along but yeah, I think she is just totally emotionally drained.

you also just don't know what to expect with court and then they had Lori loose on her "own" imo. I tried to imagine our perp questioning us...

I honestly wish Lori would just plead guilty to Brandon. It won't happen of course. And we won't see Lori sentenced for either until after that. Kay doesn't think she will have to testify in that one but wants to be there for Brandon plus this one won't be sentenced until after that so same time.
Not sure I am going to watch any more right now. Lightness might be needed.

Not sure I've found the right words but I think she has done interviews if I had to guess because Justin, Nate, so on were good to keep the case out there but if she could, she'd probably just go back to her hotel or wherever and crash and sleep. That's the feeling I got. It did remind me of the extreme emotions and being just worn out. Colby too struck me the same way.

They've waited a long time for this one and it isn't the first.

I don't know if I sound right or not, just trying to describe how it struck me. It has been such a sensation but also these were very real people in people's lives that died/were murdered. Maybe that's the best way I can come up with to put it.

Not sure I am going to watch any more right now. Lightness might be needed. I don't know why this one over others through the years really brought me back to the emotions. I guess I could just see it in Kay maybe. She mentioned a book but then what she said gave me the feeling they just want to shut the door on this and Lolo to go away.

Anyhow, what a day. There is a reason I watch cooking and such also. Or lately, fiction.

I don't know why but I hope to heck Lori realized with an all male jury her baby voice and ways had absolutely NO effect on them and that she is done. Kay has mentioned her baby talk in a few interviews already and I haven't even seen that many. I went away from it not too long after the verdict.

IF anyone else watched anything else and has some takes on it all, I'd love to see them tomorrow.

Every single prosecution successful so far!!! VERY good day that way!!!!!!!!
