Midwest City police search for missing woman, family says she's 41-weeks pregnant​

A pregnant woman has been missing since Thursday morning after family said she left a Midwest City home and did not return, according to her family.

The Midwest City Police Department said officers are searching for Jordan Clayborn, who is 26. Family members told KOCO that Clayborn is 41-weeks pregnant.

Police said Clayborn was reported missing at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

Family told KOCO that Clayborn left the father of her child's home, which is near Midwest Boulevard and Northeast 10th Street, to go to the store. She told the man that she would be back to get him before a doctor's appointment to be induced.

She has not been seen since.

Officers were told that she had a doctor's appointment at 11 a.m. Thursday in Oklahoma City. However, officers said they contacted the doctor's office and were told Clayborn was not there and did not have an appointment.

Clayborn was last seen leaving the residence in Midwest City at 10 a.m. Thursday. She left in a silver Nissan Altima, according to police.

Woman reported missing from Midwest City found safe​

A woman reported missing from Midwest City on Thursday has been found safe, according to police.

The 26-year-old was reported missing on Thursday after she left a Midwest City home and did not return. A missing persons report was filed by a family member.

Midwest City police confirmed that she was found safe on Friday.

Family members told KOCO 5 in the initial report that the woman was pregnant. However, police confirmed when she was found that she was not pregnant.

“I talked to her the night before, and she was happy,” Avery said. “She was laughing. She told me she would see me the next day, and everything seemed fine.”

Police said Jordan was last seen leaving her home around 10 a.m. Thursday. Her family initially said she was 41 weeks pregnant and had an appointment scheduled at Lakeside Hospital, but detectives later confirmed with the doctor’s office that Jordan never had a scheduled appointment.

Midwest City Police located Jordan safe at a friend’s house. Officials say she was never in danger. Avery said the whole situation is confusing.

“The last thing she told me was that I would see her after she had the baby,” Avery said. “I was going to go visit her, and she said she loved me.”
