7-month-old Clayton County boy reported missing by mother

Police in Clayton County are searching for a missing 7-month-old boy who has not been seen in about a week.

Jonha Harrison’s mother gave her son to a man named "Josh," who she thought at the time was the infant father, officers with the Clayton County Police Department say.

When it was determined that he was not the father, he and the child’s mother agreed to allow his cousin to take care of the child since she was not able to at the time, police say.

The mother tells police she made contact with the cousin via Facetime and got to see her son on Dec. 14.

She tells police she was supposed to pick up the infant on Monday, but the cousin never showed up and she can now not find them.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County police confirmed a baby who went missing Tuesday was found.

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, officers responded to Kylie Court in Riverdale regarding a missing person call.

During their investigation, officers learned that 7-month-old Jonha Harrison’s mother believed that a person named Josh was the father of her son.

She gave Jonha to Josh for approximately two weeks.

Once Josh found out that he was not the father of Jonha, the mother permitted Josh to give her son to his cousin since she could not care for him.

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the mother contacted the cousin through FaceTime, and she saw her son.

The mother was scheduled to pick up her son from the cousin on Monday, Dec. 19, but the cousin never showed up.

On Wednesday, officials posted on Facebook saying Jonha had been found. No further details were released.
