I'm not necessarily. We've had two different neighbors that had bolters that were that age. They're FAST!
What got me was the dad's bad attempt at an explanation.
My grandson got away from me one time and I FREAKED out. He was in the driveway one second, and all the way around to the other side of the house (through the back yard) the next! He was only 2 years old!

I now wonder who was demanding them to present her.
Her uncle.
Investigators testified that Herring’s uncle, June Bugg, had been texting Herring weeks earlier asking about Javeayah’s whereabouts because he had not seen the child.

ALSO, mom was VERY pregnant and gave birth the same night Javeayah was reported missing. She probably knew that people would absolutely be asking where her OTHER child was when she's having this one. Probably going into labor and realized she couldn't wait any longer.

That'll do it.

Parents accused of using chemicals to destroy body of missing 4-year-old
Authorities in South Carolina say they have recovered human remains believed to belong to 4-year-old Javeayah Harris after accusing her parents of trying to destroy her body with corrosive chemicals before dumping the remains into a reservoir.

During an emotional news conference Thursday, Aiken County Sheriff Marty Sawyer announced investigators recovered human remains from Cedar Creek Reservoir, also known as Dumpy Pond, in neighboring Fairfield County.

The remains were sent to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) for testing, which determined they are consistent with the biological offspring of Javeayah's parents, Johmarea Harris and Michilae Herring.

"These updates never get easier to share," Sawyer said. "This past week has been heart-wrenching for everyone."

Sawyer said investigators believe the parents made "extensive efforts" to conceal the crime after Javeayah's death.

"Our information reveals the use of corrosive chemicals and other tools that were used to accelerate the destruction of her little body," Sawyer said.

According to the sheriff, after using the chemicals and tools, the parents allegedly dumped what remained of the child's body into the reservoir.

"In my 37-year career in law enforcement, I have never, ever heard of anything so horrific," Sawyer said.

Investigators believe they will never recover all of Javeayah's remains because of the alleged efforts to destroy the evidence.

Following Thursday's announcement, prosecutors filed additional charges against both parents for destruction and desecration of human remains.

Authorities have not released Javeayah's cause of death, saying the investigation remains ongoing.

How come so many hearts have grown so cold toward their own kids???? Is it substance abuse numbing their souls?

Some remains of a missing South Carolina girl have been recovered, and her parents now face an additional charge, the sheriff announced Thursday morning.

At a Thursday, July 9, news conference, Sheriff Marty Sawyer shared new gruesome details that led investigators to recover only some of 4-year-old Javeayah Harris’ remains. The investigation prompted additional charges against her parents, Johmarea Harris and Michilae Herring.

“Personally, there are some very harsh words I would like to use about Johmarea and Michilae and their actions. But I will not do that, and I will not [in order] to protect and maintain the integrity of this case,” said Sawyer. “But I will tell you this. I will not refer to them as mom and dad, or mother or father. They don’t deserve that title.”

A choked-up Aiken County Sheriff Marty Sawyer says some of Javeayah Harris’ remains have been recovered after her body was dissolved by chemicals and “poured” into a lake.

Authorities allege the girl died after not being taken for medical treatment following abuse at the hands of her mother.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office said they found several human remains in the area of Stumpy Pond in Fairfield County, S.C. Through DNA analysis, it has been confirmed that they belong to Javeayah Harris. Sheriff Sawyer also said that corrosive chemicals were used in her disposal.

I'm surprised they were able to find her remains after the "mother" went to all that trouble, and how long she's been missing!
