

Law enforcement finds 13-year-old boy safe in McIntosh County
Law enforcement found a missing 13-year-old boy safe Tuesday afternoon after searching for several hours.

The FBI, Muscogee Nation Lighthorse Police, McIntosh County Sherriff’s Department and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are actively searching for a missing 13-year-old Native American boy in McIntosh County, police said.Ethan McIntosh was last seen on Monday around 5:45 p.m. in the Stidham area, where he was operating an orange Kubota tractor.
Authorities began searching around 10 p.m. Monday night and later found the tractor he was last seen driving about a mile north of the Mission Acres Country Store, according to Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
The FBI is investigating the area where the tractor was found before crews continued the search. The tractor didn’t appear to have crashed.
Lighthorse police say the boy’s father has been cooperative with the investigation but hasn’t been out searching with crews.
McIntosh is the son of Peggy McGuire who has been missing since 2015.
