FL CASSIE CARLI: Missing from Navarre Beach, FL - 27 March 2022 - Age 37 *Found Deceased*

FB_IMG_1648575784818.jpg

Investigators from multiple counties are looking into a missing persons case involving a Navarre woman, Cassi Carli, and her daughter, Saylor. Carli’s father reported them missing yesterday after they failed to show up as expected Sunday evening for a child custody exchange at Juana’s Pagodas. Sources close to the family say Carli’s car was located at Navarre Beach Boat Ramp, where investigators were on scene earlier this morning. Any information should be reported to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department via 850-983-1190.

I guess we can probably assume (but not sure) the dad either turned himself in and/or at least managed to give them confirmation the child was alive somehow... I mean the child could have been with someone else but I doubt it as I think we'd have known before now unless only recently leaving her with someone...

This is I think the same video of the friend as above but this creator has quite a few pics of mom and daughter and the father as well and video of the little girl in the last few minutes of it. Mom and Saylor look so happy... I'm glad the child is "safe" but if she is not where she should be, I don't call that safe. It doesn't look good for mom. :(

I guess her purse was in her car. He was found in AL, allegedly a job site he has there, and Saylor with a friend of his... This is in a video I saw that has a press conference in it with this info. I didn't catch it all... It sounds like thus far he is still in AL and no arrest or anything. AL CPS was called but they couldn't share info but perhaps that is just to see the child is okay....? No idea.

This is live. I'm going to post this, I don't know how long it will end up being but he is pretty good on these cases with no over the top stuff. I may have to rewatch some of it if I get time. I already found though that the purse was in her car, her credit card, etc. hasn't been used and there was a PC that I hadn't seen/had a chance to see.

I"m going to recap the PC important points because the last weeks or months people have helped me out a lot when I haven't had time to listen to or read all. Trying to return the favor.

From the PC:

A few takeaways:

She "left" her purse behind in the car.

They found Marcus in Birmingham, AL yesterday. 3 detectives went up there and interviewed him and called AL child services to check out the child, etc. to see all okay or not.

They interviewed him and came back to FL. 3 detectives I think he said.

Looking at many things and is an ongoing investigation.

Then it moves to questions...

Confirms the search reaches beyond Santa Rosa County.

He was the last one to see her they are aware of.

[I can't hear all questions on the PC but can hear the answers]

I think when he says "not by us" (I heard it a bit clearer elsewhere), it is about is the guy under any restrictions, travel, etc. (the ?) and the LE guy says "not by us"... Makes me wonder if AL has any on him...

[I can't up my volume further... ]

Alabama protective services came out and he can't comment on what they did. FL did not interview the child...

He thinks the dad had a job site in AL and works up there and that's the story/reason he was/is there...

[Can't hear questions, interestingly one reporter a person can hear, she must have her own microphone or something]

No credit card, bank etc. activity of missing Cassie that they are aware of.

Their ENTIRE major crimes unit is working it. TEN detectives and pretty much all they are all busy doing is trying to locate Cassie.

They've seen a bunch of video but the problem with some of it is it is getting dark, etc. Still examining video. [I'm going to take that to mean having it enhanced, focused in, etc.]

Right now she is missing/endangered. No evidence right now pointing homicide, abduction, any of those. Just know car, the way gone missing, etc. concerns them greatly.

[Can't hear but I think question is about F B I]. Says they volunteered, they have capabilities to look at certain type of evidence for them that they don't, software that they don't have, etc. [guessing for sure they are looking at least at phone, video, GPS data, etc., my guess]

LE does have her car.

Over and out. Roger. 10-4.

:thankyou:

I don't know why no one has interviewed Saylor. FYI Cassie's family has filed for Saylor to be returned to the maternal family and a judge denied it today. Also, Birmingham is ~ 5 hours away and the opposite direction of where Marcus said he dropped Cassie off in Destin.
He did say something about AL Child Services I think having techniques or strategies or something on how or if to talk to a child, etc... Paraphrasing... He just said a little something and then what he was saying kind of trailed off... I took it to mean the appropriate agency or people are looking at doing that if they haven't already but it wasn't entirely clear...

Five hours away from where he said he last saw her? This isn’t looking good at all, is it.

This has a lot more information, including the texts/FB messages with Marcus
“Raeann said Cassie usually tried to meet her daughter's father, Marcus Spanevelo, at a public location – typically a Walmart parking lot – but that he had recently been changing the meet-up locations. This time, the pair scheduled to meet in the parking lot of nearby Juana’s Pagodas restaurant.”

The quote above is from the article that Daisy posted. So she was going to run down to a nearby restaurant and her car was found where? I’m really not familiar with this area so I need some help here.
