A missing child alert has been issued after a South Florida family told authorities they had not seen their baby niece since December of last year.

On Thursday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Persons Information Clearinghouse issued a missing child alert for seven-month-old Baby Angelina, who was last seen in the area of 3000 Sheridan Street in Hollywood on Dec. 16, 2024. Following the alert, Hollywood Police issued another alert, asking for the public's help in finding the infant child.

Angelina is believed to be with 19-year-old Samantha Feliz and 20-year-old Alejandro Leon Jr., who are the infant's parents, Hollywood Police and FLDE said.

According to Hollywood Police, a concerned family member reported Angelina's disappearance after claiming he had not seen his niece "for quite some time," and that Feliz had made some "unsettling comments." Detectives have been working diligently to find Feliz and Leon, who Hollywood Police said are both experiencing homelessness.

According to FDLE, Feliz and Leon may be using electric scooters and may be known as "The Scooter People."

Additionally, FDLE said if Feliz and Leon are found, do not approach them and contact law enforcement immediately. If you have any information about Angelina or her family, please contact Hollywood Police at (954) 967-4636 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).

Oh no. This happens way too much. I wonder was this legal or were they under CPS care or some such.

It's funny (butt not funny) how people can go and not notice such a thing. Perhaps if you are someone used to seeing the missing person a lot--even then one be probably be convinced for a while that you just missed the person, etc.

Here's how easy. We have a married in law in my family, I'll call him Bill. Well I was on a catch up phone call with my mom. I don't do them often enough either but mom is a good one to know what is going on to a point with various family members. It lets me catch up on all, send some messages after knowing, etc. Like good luck with your upcoming surgery, things like that.

ANYWAYS back to the point. Anyways, we we were talking of them working hard, likely busy. Mostly of her I guess because my mom said what about him, he busy, doing okay, not seeing much of him. Okay, now my radar went up...

So these two visit that (my) side (mine), they also visit me, they reside in neither town of ours.

Took forever to type that part, bad position, pain--, going for a part 2.
 
Part 2. S now we start talking about it and I question mom on WHEN she last did see him or he was with the female relative. She figured at least six times he had not been. Now we knosp,etjomg going on. I had noticed it took but it's a bit different at my place, they don't stay here, we often just go eat once or something.

Now though, we knew he as not going with for he days long and seeing my entire family on occasion and had not in a log time.

It isn't foul play but the implications are there. He either quit caring and cares less tp see our familly (any of them) and only his matters to him. They used to be so fair seeing both sidese together. Also means not supportive of wife. On the other hand she is very present and sees his side. I said something about it ad I think little of such behaviior and he USED to be so good.

Do you know, I figured he WAS going with, how would I know had my mom not said something.

So this is why when all parts are not known, people do not realize. Hypervigilance needs to be taken with kids but people who do not think their's are not going to do anything for the child so that makes it hard.

I think when a child is born and all those involved in the life should suggest how nice it would be to share photos with each pther pf each visit saying it ensures all relatiives would have pics of lfie at different ages if they can't be there. Just an idea...

Long winded, sorry, this just happens way too much.
