reading between the lines (lying to authorities) it seems Adams may be the man she went to meet

Washington County Sherriff’s Office awaiting autopsy results in Tina Prince case

Prince’s body was discovered on a rural road just outside Sandersville Friday, and 31-year-old Aaron Adams is charged with concealing her death and two counts of lying to investigators. No one has been charged with murder.

Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran told News 12, “The family has not [identified Tina’s body yet]. The crime lab will have to use forensics to legally identify the body. I’ve been told it would likely be Tuesday or Wednesday before that is done.”

However, Sheriff Cochran says the official autopsy report is not complete and the investigation is ongoing.

About halfway down the page in the link below is a personal tribute for Tina. May she rest in heaven. 🙏

I don't know what happened here or what his motive was or who he was to her, but reading the obit, most of her close family was from Sandersville which leads me to think this is her hometown. Pretty sad for such a thing to happen in a place one would likely feel the safest and most comfortable. May she RIP.

Washington County man charged in connection with teacher's disappearance faces more charges

A Washington County man charged in connection with the disappearance of a first-grade teacher who was later found dead is facing additional charges related to the case.

Tina Prince was first reported missing in June 2021. She was last seen at Pueblas Mexican Restaurant before surveillance video showed her in a convenience store. Investigators say Prince then met up with a male acquaintance who was later identified as Aaron Matthew Adams at a nearby Walmart. Prince's car was found in that parking lot several days later with no sign of Prince.

Friends and family held a candlelight vigil to pray for Prince's safe return. Her body was found a week later in rural Washington County off Pleasant Grove Road. The Sheriff's Office arrested Adams and charged him with felony concealing death and two felony counts of false statements.

Last week, nearly a year after Prince disappeared, Adams was indicted on four additional counts of false statements. "It's been an ongoing case ever since the initial report was filed," says Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran. "Over the past year, the District Attorney's Offices have had the information, we've been able to put a case together and get it before the Superior Court of Washington County so that we can get this case moving in the court system and try to bring closure to the family."

Court documents show Adams is scheduled to be arraigned in July. District Attorney Tripp Fitzner says he knows nothing will be able to bring Prince back, but hopes that when this is all over, the family will have some closure. “I know how important this case is to the family," he says. "It's important to us too. And we're going to do everything that we can do to bring this case to a resolution and get justice for this family.”
