No problem, this case has almost obsessed me so I try to remember to share if anything new.

Yes, it certainly does stink and in my opinion, nothing, absolutely nothing matches up, etc. And we do not even probably know the half of what LE knows.

That's one of the conclusions I came away with too. One camera or another would have picked them up at some point. Not a part of their story is credible imo.

I used to live in Ridgecrest, which isn't too far from California City. I have a REAL hard time believing the adoptive parents' story. I am scared wondering how long the boys have actually been missing.

On Monday, the extended family of Orson and Orrin West announced they were offering $30,000 for information leading to the return of the 3- and 4-year-old children. Added to the rewards other businesses and the city have already announced, and total compensation for pertinent facts is now $80,000.

“By far, it’s the highest reward ever in Cal City. I’m sure of that,” said Rick Jones, owner of Greenstone Cannabis Retail and Preferred Towing, which have offered a combined $20,000. “It’s the unknown that gets people going, and I think people are going to keep going and going and going until there’s some kind of closure.”

I know. Everything that comes out just instead of making me think maybe we are wrong or most of us are wrong, does just the opposite imo. No idea where they are but I know who should be on the HOT SEATS for the lies and nothing adding up...
 
So I've been following this case more loosely and I didn't watch any of the videos until yesterday. But I just gotta say, him "driving around looking" for the boys for SIX minutes? And NO video of ANYONE frantically searching? And him standing by the tree out front JUST WAITING for the cops for almost like 20 minutes? Not to mention two days previously when only 4 of the 6 kids were loaded up into the car??? Wooooo boy I'm mad.

Certainly the other 4 kids in the household have provided more insight that we're privy to.

Yes it's an easy one to get obsessed with because it is so full of apparent lies and more... I have TRIED in my own head to find other explanations. Like with him standing under the tree, I considered that 911 might have him on the phone and be keeping him on it until cops arrived as they do sometimes but wouldn't you still be out with your phone pacing and looking at least left and right up and down the street and around the home?

Everything flat out stinks in this one.

They took the other four kids very quickly and I think there is more reason for that than we know. The Chief said it is kind of standard but I sure have never heard of it...
 
Well they boarded up all the windows on the house. The Youtubers are saying the PD had it done and paid for it. Yet the patio door in back is not boarded up. Odd.

There was an interview with a prior neighbor in Bakersfield yesterday. It was interesting. Here:



Finally, last night the AV crew were searching live a park and somewhere else in or near Bakersfield. I think these suggestions come from psychics people keep pushing. While searching everywhere can't hurt, they were doing it in the pitch black dark which makes absolutely no sense to me. It isn't like there would have been any danger to do it during the normal daylight. I could not keep watching, found it a bit over the top but plenty of people eat that up and they had a ton of viewers. It just wasn't for me. Just mentioning it in case anyone wants to go watch those. I am not going to link them.

I’m glad you didn’t. Searching in the dark sounds more like they are into an adventure than they are working to find children. I still hope they can find them though.
I’m surprised that the neighbors in Bakersfield didn’t see the children playing either. Surprised and heartbroken. This is the worst news.

Yes, I give them credit, they are all over this case and clearly travel and do a lot to bring things and the neighbor's surveillance footage gave us what we often don't have in so many cases. On the other hand though, they are building a following and I find some of it a bit sensationalistic at times. Personally I took the searching in the dark more to heighten the drama. I watched a few minutes and tried two different times but just not for me.

I think they also have new viewers flooding in right now because they did get the surveillance footage and they are in that growth period where they can't keep up with trolls and such and controlling things. Jmo though. I mean people are bringing them every psychic's prediction and continually insisting they check it out. While I am middle of the road on such things, I am far from believing that everyone that calls themselves a psychic is one if ya know what I mean.

I watch when they have interviews and such and the surveillance footage was very worthwhile.

It was interesting that no one saw more than three children or so it seems. I wonder how long they lived there, not sure we know that. And never playing. Sometimes I wonder if these boys did not "disappear" shortly after they adopted them... I mean even far longer ago than most (including me) are already thinking.

Didn’t the bio mom address the last time she saw them? I wonder if she was pressing them to see them more often and that’s why they moved to California city so they would have more of an excuse? Just coming up with scenarios.

There are a lot of things out there that have been messed up where one does not know which is true. For instance, she mentioned wanting to get Christmas presents to them and the "parents" refusing and I took that to mean this recent Christmas but others say it was 2019. One Youtuber has contact from the bio grandfather, I believe the mother's dad, and she recently asked him some questions which he was nice enough to answer by email. One was when the mom (maybe all of them) had last seen the boys and it was when she was doing parenting classes. So some time ago that would mean I think.

I guess that doesn't mean she was not trying or pressuring to see them but I really have seen no proof she had done so recently. I just watched a video I think yesterday where one Youtuber addressed some of the rumors or things that were not certain. If I come across it, I will post it.
