THIS JUST IN ~ CURRENT CRIME STORIES #2 (1 Viewer)

Yeah, exactly what I was wondering. Was the one who looks to be a teen boy in the picture the same one arrested, and possibly her sibling? Clearly the two blocked out in the pics are minors as the only ones not are the mom and the victim.

So it could well have been the brother OR perhaps he had a friend over but looking like a family thing just on what is here so far... Possibly but of course, no way to be sure.

Do they know the motive?

What the heck case is this one over? Just a short. Looks like a clip from News 6 out of somewhere. If I had more time, I'd try to find more on it. Maybe later but unsure. Take a look.

I went to comments and this is what someone is saying:

I found this online…Sharon's real name is Debra Newton. She moved with her blood-daughter, who was 3 years old at the time, away from Kentucky. The claim was that she was relocating for work but they both disappeared. She lived under a different identity and built a new life with a new husband, and retired near The Villages-FL. She was charged with custodial interference, a felony, which has no statute of limitations. At one point, she was on the FBI's Top 8 Most Wanted Parental-Custody list, which was dismissed in 2000 due to being unable to reach the girl's father. The daughter was removed from the missing children's list in 2005. But the case was reopened in 2016 after a family member asked the FBI to reopen the case. In 2025, a tip was received identifying Sharon as "Debra," and a photo/DNA from her sister confirmed her as Debra.

Thanks. Wow. I wonder if the daughter never wondered about the new name but then I guess she was only 3. I wonder how she did all this/if she had help. Must have gotten false documents no? She clearly had money to live on or worked, hard to say.

I'd like to see a side by side of the picture circulated of the mom and what she looks at now.

She and her neighbor sure seemed to be surprised when LE said they were there for her. I suppose she thought with four decades and the daughter adult she had nothing to worry about and even the daughter was unknowingly under a different name.

Daughter was reunited with dad your article says but I'm sure she'd not even remember him. Mother probably told her no dad stuck around or dead probably.

Thanks for finding that.

I read about this. The mother just relocates from Kentucky, changes identify, and no one catches on for over 40 years?. I know we didn't have linked systems, missing children sites, etc we have now. But, really?. Now she's been reunited with her father.

Boyfriend. Of course. In a barrel by the road. How terrible.

He couldn't have taken it into the woods where nobody would see it?
A barrel is heavy alone. But I am glad he gave up. It got him caught. When I hear barrel. I think of "Bear Brook Murders". They were in the woods abd not discovered for decades. Nobody is going to investigate a barrel by the road. Duh.

Barrels can be rolled. Pick another place then.

I made a thread about this case because I think that people are going to continue to talk about it and when the trial comes, there might be some celebrities testifying, etc.
