The Wexford County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who is reported missing and possibly endangered.

Park, who is approximately 38 weeks pregnant, was last seen willingly getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle on Monday night around 11:30 p.m. outside a relative's home on South 21 1/2 Road.

She had arranged to be picked up but did not disclose to the witness who would be picking her up, the sheriffs office said.

Deputies said her cellphone was later discovered on a two-track near the location where she was last seen.

This is a pregnant vulnerable woman and her unborn child - they need to do their job. What are they doing about this abduction?

and bio mom has reportedly changed what vehicle to look for and why I have that question. I'm definitely questioning if there even was a car that took her away.

The phone was found basically where she got into the vehicle so that wouldn't do any good - definitely why it was found where it was. They live out in the boonies so not much in the way of traffic cams for miles. Most of the few houses that were there were tucked away so a doorbell cam might not reach to catch what happened on the road, especially around the midnight blackness in the boonies.

if the car never left that area, doubtful any camera footage exists. if the car even exists. if it was an uber, a record would exist. if it was a friend, etc., then there should be a call or text on her phone. if none of that, there was no car imo.

If the mom's story did actually change to what type of vehicle it was, then I am definitely leaning to no vehicle existed. They should have gone through her phone by now to see if there were any messages or phone calls right before 11:30 pm unless they haven't been able to secure a court order yet for some reason. I would think this would be an expedited case for this though.

I was just thinking the other day of all the ones that popped up with new channels on the West boys, then on Summer Wells, Gabby Petito, that girl out west whose car went into a lake after being at a party, there were a lot of them, and they hype things like conspiracy, trafficking or camp outside of people's houses even like we had in Petito, man they were saying crazy sh*t in that one.

YT has become very calm, cleaned up that way imo.

I sometimes think of doing the FB thing etc. because it DOES give more info sometimes about family and so on BUT it is also all generally rumors, not verified.

So I do gather it is a kind of messed up family maybe. I mean if the baby dad dated both her mom and then her, well sorry, but that says a lot...

Wow. Does remind me of a few cases I saw when YT used to be just as bad that way at times.

Sadly it becomes families airing dirty laundry and/or antagonism towards the other family members for all the world to see. Jerry Spring, Montell Williams used to be the venue for such airing of dirty laundry sorry to say...

It's hard because there probably definitely is some truth in all their antics but the guilty side will give it back to make the innocent side look bad too, etc., etc...

Cure you lol. Hey, no judgment here, I've had years I was on FB to stay in touch and it was a FB group that actually led me to YT for the first time. I used to think it was something very different than what it actually is.

Sometimes of course it is just the case. The more family and friends, the more they talk, the more viral it goes, on any platform, even "news" these days.

According to Park’s father in a Nov. 25 statement, he found her body while he was out searching for her on a two-track near her mother’s home in Boon Township.
No official information on the status of Park’s child has been released.
When Park disappeared on Nov. 4, she was approximately 39 weeks pregnant and had been last seen around 11:30 p.m. getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle outside a relative’s home on South 21½ Road.

Park’s mother, Courtney Bartholomew, was the last person to see her alive.
A $12,000 reward was being offered for any information or a direct location regarding Park’s whereabouts.
As of Nov. 24, no arrests had been made in the case. Sheriff’s deputies and the Michigan State Police had conducted extensive searches in the area where she was last seen. Volunteers later searched the same area. No additional evidence was located in either search.
A volunteer group — calling themselves a recovery team — also appeared in the area. The sheriff’s office said the group was not requested by law enforcement and is not operating under the agency’s authority, though they were free to search on their own.
According to the sheriff’s office, there was no known direct evidence that Park was the victim of an assault.
Deputies clarified during the investigation that they were not in possession of bloody clothing, despite claims circulating on social media. The status of her pregnancy is unknown.
No arrests have been made as of the discovery of Park’s body.
The sheriff’s office said it would issue an updated release when additional information becomes available.

Throughout if anyone seemed suspect, it was mom and/or the bf...

I resisted the idea a mom would do something to her grown child BUT all she said was suspect and it always stood out the phone was found near her home, etc...
