Karen Read accused of backing into boyfriend and leaving him to die *NOT GUILTY* (Guilty of OUI) (36 Viewers)

This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

Must say i am getting a bit bored with it now, over and over again with what happened.

Plus no evidence he went in the house at all.

I didn't stay on all day, went down for count, but yes, I hit him, I hit him. And they aren't ALL proctor and so on.

There's never been one bit of anything that convinced me even last time he went in house.

It is a defense made up story.

What I did listen to today though, they are making sure the jury understands imo this time around that just as you just said, he never went in that house, that was a made up after the fact story.
 
The officer who testified today was the one who used the leaf blower and found the broken cocktail glass and used the solo cups for bloody snow. However he also said there was no evidence that he had been dragged from elswhere around the house or anything like that. He also said that where his body had laid there was a bare patch underneath with no snow.
 
At approx 56 minutes in, LE dramatically cuts evidence bag open and pulls out JO's black right sneaker. It looks brand new. Did they do this in the first trial?

Also some commentary (at the beginning I think) outside the court says that KR has been leaving saying "no comment" for the last couple of days rather than her previous chatty comments about lying witnesses.

Another witness later on today is discussing the phone extraction data for some time.

I saw quite a bit of today's. Didn't see the sneaker but did catch part of LE, saw most of the phone extraction lady, and there was a lot of arguing about her before she went on the stand and a ton of objections and sidebars during direct. Defense clearly VERY worried about her. She clearly knows her stuff.

While very technical testimony, it was interesting because the P kind of knows what D will do later this time so they were making sure they covered with her what some of that imo, getting out in front of it.

End of day they yeah showed a clip of KR saying either Jen McCabe was going down or she was. Does she never learn? Do her attys not tell her to shut her mouth? No they actually go on TV with her and such... LOL.

I don't think Jen McCabe is in the dock, she is though, so yeah she should keep quiet, unless she plans to testify this time? What do you think? Will she?

No, I think that's what she's been trying to do by getting on TV and making her remarks is testifying, telling her side, without taking the stand. It's backfiring on her though imo.

I watched today on Scott's channel and quite a few in the chat said he had a really good show I guess last night fairly giving both sides of the case or some such. Not sure if I'm up to watching but may check out. Just mentioning for any interested too.
 
her face is driving me crazy lol..... and the testimony yesterday was BRUTALLY BORING..... ugh.... hoping to watch some today but doing things around the house, stuff for my dads estate and listening to a podcast that is fbi profilers profiling the zodiac......
so i'm multi tasking over here lol

i absolutely cannot stand her. Been watching some today, fair amount. Actually it never popped up for me this morning and generally several channels I watch pop up for me with it, was odd, thought maybe it was an off/dark day. I finally went searching and it was on so I did not see it from start, but have watched quite a bit since. They rare on one hour break right now. But something caused it, did not catch it all, another side bar, and so on, etc.

Proctor's superior if I have it right is on the stand. He's pretty good, comfortable however he is only on direct thus far but most LE of many yrs. are used to the stand.

Back to KR, yah, she disgusts me.

I guess I do know a bit but didn't catch all, so the State guy on the stand was opening evidence bags and it went okay through the jeans of the deceased, then my sister was texting, m aybe got another item of clothing done and then some objection and I have no idea what exactly the deal was but they don't tell ya either with sidebar or want the jury to know, next thing known it is a one hour break and I mean BREAK, wasn't said it was lunch....
 
Will just add as I was a bit sidetracked when it happened, not sure if it wa something re testimony about the item or the clothing item itself.

I have to say too that every time there is a sidebar and there have been many in this trial it looks ridiculous to me when how many is it KR and six D attorneys or thereabouts all beeline for the judge. If I was a juror, I'd wonder what all the overkill was about for a D team and I'm serious. Not saying she can't have one but it looks very overblown imo and she tries to almost act as if she's one of them, part of the atty. team.

Yah I guess I absolutely just can't stand her either, or any of them.

Some pretty detailed testimony in what I was watching though leading all through that day...

The P witness is not avoiding Proctor's name being mentioned. You know they know the D case this time around, someone I watch says the D usually gets one chance and they already had their one, after that, nothing coming is THAT much of a surprise the next time around, and they are getting out in front of as much as they can imo.

Testimony has been pretty interesting today. The parts I've seen. Not sure how long he will be up before the D comes on trying to take apart all said but so far, yeah, pretty good.

Yeah i noticed that last week how they all crowd up to the judge for the sidebars including the accused. That's not normal IMO.
