FL CASSIE CARLI: Missing from Navarre Beach, FL - 27 March 2022 - Age 37 *Found Deceased*

Investigators from multiple counties are looking into a missing persons case involving a Navarre woman, Cassi Carli, and her daughter, Saylor. Carli’s father reported them missing yesterday after they failed to show up as expected Sunday evening for a child custody exchange at Juana’s Pagodas. Sources close to the family say Carli’s car was located at Navarre Beach Boat Ramp, where investigators were on scene earlier this morning. Any information should be reported to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department via 850-983-1190.

The parking lot was right near or almost next to the restaurant/bar but I gather it wasn't THE closest parking or the actual lot of the restaurant bar. The YTer I posted above does a lot of Google Earth, etc. and maps on his channel in cases. He's good to watch, very informative, not over the top as some are and I usually leave his with some information I didn't know. He will put up all family remarks and videos, etc. and the press conferences...
 
I also want to point out that News Nation is putting out at times some very confusing and contradictory news. They have said both that she was dropping off the child and then that she was to pick up the child. Not knocking them, just advising to be aware of it.

Apparently, they used to meet at the Navarre Walmart which is way east because he was coming from Destin. That Walmart is almost in the next county. Supposedly, Marcus was already in Navarre so they met at Juana's closer to Cassie's house. IMO, meeting at Juana's was odd. It's on the beach and it's spring break and traffic has been insane. There's a Winn Dixie shopping center and a Publix shopping center right on the north side of 98. That would seem like more logical meeting locations, to me. All, IMO.

Juana's is on the right immediately after you come off the beach bridge. I've been there a few times and had no problem parking in their lot, but it's spring break. To get to the parking lot where her car was found, you pass Juana's and keep going and make a right at the stop sign after the Tom Thumb, then make a right into that parking lot. It may be Juana's overflow lot, IDK. Like I said above, it was an odd location to meet.

I'd have to watch it again and didn't catch it all but on Mel's thing (the YTer), I think it was a family member of friend of Cassie's that said they also were going to discuss future custody exchanges, plans so I wondered if that didn't mean sit down at the restaurant to do so or what...?

Also, he apparently wanted her to go home with him to discuss or some such and this I think was in a text we hadn't heard of to her dad or friend, I can't quite recall... Or the guy's phone or he said that... Wish I recalled the details but I just couldn't watch it closely when I had it on nor listen to all, there were interruptions here.

I do recall the family member or friend saying that made no sense and why would she and why would he expect her to...

There is a Go Fund Me that shows this was not a great situation/relationship last fall when she was trying to raise funds to get a good lawyer to try to fight for custody of Saylor, etc... There is a letter from Cassie explaining the situation if anyone is interested...

Allegedly after splitting he would call CPS on her and make things up repeatedly.... Once she broke from his control and the relationship...

I'm not stating any of this as fact but it does come purportedly from family and a letter Cassie wrote for GFM etc.

I have the impression it is maybe a beach parking lot or something on that order...? Consensus seems to be of course that he changed locations to get her away from Walmart with its cameras, people, etc...

I can tell you that comments and consensus elsewhere seems to be that there aren't and that that's why the location he picked... Not 100 percent sure of the bar but not sure she was ever near it or in it... Never known most bars to have them outside... The last thing they want is some bar brawl in the parking lot recorded... After hours or during...

Yet the cops talk as if there is video but darkness, etc. makes it difficult... That could be though nearby or places she passed or they could even be just planting the seed for the perp to hear and worry about...

You know, if Spanevelo is as controlling as is being reported, why didn't he blow the phone up calling her dad to see why she didn't show up to get their daughter?

Exactly, it sure all points to him... So I believe she was to pick up her daughter, it was also said he had the child weekends (not sure if all but sounds like mainly on weekends when he did) and she went back to Cassie on Sundays and this was a Sunday. But HE HAS the child so CLEARLY Cassie didn't take or get the child... They say he claimed she started acting all crazy and weird on him (said that to her father maybe) and this is his excuse maybe...? Not sure. But she or her car WAS at the meeting spot and so was her purse... I somehow doubt the child was ever with him but not sure on that of course.... I mean when meeting Cassie...

Also, I believe she just had won something on him, can't recall, either custody or maybe it was a judgment or something for unpaid child support....?

I haven't had time but I really need to watch that YT video again, much of what I"m saying came from the PC, family, friends and things on there...

GOOD! So he was in TN now...? He was in Alabama. I need to read the article, but wanted to say I'm glad to hear there is an arrest!!
 
He was heading north if he had been in Birmingham but was arrested in TN. Lebanon TN I've heard, near Nashville... Highway Patrol was also involved in the arrest...
