Have You Seen This Woman? Andreae Lloyd Missing After Being Abducted From Miami-Dade Home

Miami-Dade police are searching for a woman they said was attacked and taken from her job.

“It’s hard, it’s hard. She’s the type of person who always calls her daddy because we got so much love in the family,” says Arnold Lloyd, whose daughter Andreae Lloyd went missing Tuesday morning.

Arnold Lloyd, a modest family man, said he only wants one thing this holiday season, “Everyone knows I don’t beg for anything, but I’m begging for my daughter to come home.”

The baby of his 12 children, Andreae Lloyd, never returned home from her job as a caretaker at a south Miami-Dade group home where the 27-year-old worked as a supervisor filling in on the overnight shift.

“For her not to have contact with any of us, something is wrong,” said Alfreda Lyons, Lloyd’s godmother.

Miami Dade Police confirmed something did, in fact, go drastically wrong overnight. They say surveillance video revealed a disturbing scene after a man showed up at Andreae’s job just after midnight.

“This male proceeded to batter her and eventually during the altercation pushed her inside a vehicle and drove off in an unknown direction,” explained Miami Dade Police Detective Chris Thomas.

Police say she was dragged and forced into a white Honda Civic with Florida tag #Y650DL. Andreae’s family tells us they have a hunch who her attacker is but were asked by police to keep it to themselves for now.

“Andrea is not the type of person that would leave with a stranger and the information detectives shared with us suggest she was very familiar with the person who abducted her,” said Lyons.

The mother of two young boys herself, Andreae’s family says she would never leave them alone.

Pregnant Woman Andreae Lloyd Beaten, Abducted From Miami-Dade Job

Miami-Dade police are searching for a pregnant woman they said was attacked and taken from her job.

According to her family, Andreae Lloyd never returned home from her job as a caretaker at a south Miami-Dade group home where the 27-year-old worked as a supervisor and was filling in on the overnight shift. A co-worker said she has worked there for about two years.

Police said surveillance video revealed a disturbing scene after a man showed up at Andreae’s job just after midnight on Tuesday.

“This male proceeded to batter her and eventually during the altercation pushed her inside a vehicle and drove off in an unknown direction,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Chris Thomas.

Police say she was forced into a white Honda Civic with Florida tag #Y650DL.

Lloyd’s family is hoping for her safe return.

She said Andreae has two young boys and is a few weeks pregnant with her third child.

Praying they find her alive. This doesn't sound good. And pregnant too. If someone was bold enough to be battering her in a job setting and without regard for the pregnancy, it doesn't bode well for what he may do/have done after leaving with her.

Miami-Dade Police investigate report of suspicious man possibly connected to case of abducted pregnant mother

Police are investigating after a suspicious man was reported in Southwest Miami-Dade. Police are now trying to piece together if he had anything to do with a pregnant mother who was abducted in the area.

Family members of 27-year-old Andreae Lloyd showed up to the scene near Southwest 328th Street and 127th Avenue, Wednesday.

A number of investigators could be seen focused on a dark-colored pick-up truck.

It remains unclear if the scene is connected to the missing mother.

Body found by search dog in South Dade wetlands. It may be remains of abducted woman

A frantic day of searching for a pregnant, abducted woman in dense wetlands with police helicopters, all terrain vehicles and dogs appears to have reached a tragic end late Wednesday afternoon with the discovery of human remains.

Officially, police said they don’t know if the body found by a search dog in thick woods near Homestead Air Reserve Base belonged to 27-year-old Andreae Lloyd, who has been missing since she was dragged from her home against her will just after midnight Monday. Police said early Wednesday evening that they were still waiting for the body to be identified.

“A cadaver K9 alerted us to an area,” said Miami-Dade Police Detective Angel Rodriguez. “We believe they are human remains and we’re waiting on the medical examiner.”

But two law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation said the body was female and believed to be Lloyd. Lloyd is pregnant and has two children, ages one and five.

The desperate search near the corner of Southwest 130th Avenue and 328th Street came after a tip from a family member who police say had spotted Lloyd’s boyfriend’s truck in the area. Police, who had not named him or said he was a suspect, detained him Wednesday and he remained in custody after the body had been discovered.

On Wednesday afternoon, a senior law enforcement source familiar with the investigation on missing Andreae Lloyd told CBS4 News that investigators have discovered remains of a female found inside a large metal box typically found on the back of a pickup truck.

The identity of the woman has not been made by officials. The source tells CBS4 News the container was discovered by police canines searching a wooded area near where Lloyd’s boyfriend’s pickup truck was discovered and where Lloyd was picked up for questioning.

She lived with her boyfriend. I'm "assuming" this was him. I wonder if they had any sort of cell phone conversation / texting prior to this incident.
It just seems so.... rash? spontaneous? Like something provoked him to drive to her work in the middle of the night and do this. Why.

Because violence often happens when someone is trying to get away from a relationship, I wonder if she was breaking up with him.

This is really sad. A beautiful young mother! 😢

‘Their Relationship Seemed Perfect': Shocked Family of Slain Pregnant Mother Speaks Out

Family members are expressing shock after the boyfriend of a pregnant Miami-Dade woman allegedly confessed to abducting and killing her.

Xavier Johnson, 32, is facing first-degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated battery and burglary charges in the killing of 27-year-old Andreae Lloyd, Miami-Dade Police said Thursday.

Police said Johnson admitted to kidnapping Lloyd from a home where she was working as a caretaker on Tuesday and killing her. Her remains were found Wednesday in a wooded area in Homestead after Lloyd's family tracked Johnson to the area.

Family members said the couple had been together for 11 years, had two young children together, and were expecting a third, with Lloyd around six weeks pregnant.

“Their relationship seemed perfect," said Lloyd's nephew, Gajuanza Mitchell. "You know, I never really seen them argue, like when we had family functions, things like that. When they came around it was always happy, they both were always happy."

Lloyd, Johnson and their two children posed for a photo at the recent Miami-Dade Youth Fair that was posted to Johnson's Facebook page on Sunday.

“Whatever was going on, it must have been a very good secret because we didn’t see it," said Lloyd's uncle, Manuel Lloyd. "I tell any man or woman, if things are not going great, walk away! Why take a life that you can’t give? And what hurts the most, those children have to go from now on without a mother."

So why? If they had two kids already and he was her bf, apparently they have been together some time and they already had a family. Did he want out and a third child was not conducive to that is the only reason I can think of.

Sad to hear it was her but happy she was found.

What is the burglary charge I wonder? Did he steal drugs or something from the home she worked at? Or a car maybe at some point?

Unless he had reason to suspect the child was not his? At only 6 weeks pregnant, she would have only found out VERY recently.
If everything was really so "perfect" up until this point. But somehow I'm not convinced.
Relationships don't go from "perfect" to forcibly abducting and beating your significant other ending in their death overnight.

I have to admit that crossed my mind too. He could have suspected or even been told and it wouldn't mean the parents or anyone else would know. Clearly there was something wrong even if the parents saw no signs. At least wrong with him, for him to do this to her.

Lloyd’s father, Arnold Lloyd, told Miami outlet WFOR that his daughter was about to break up with Johnson, whom she had dated for 11 years.

“She was going to leave him because he was messing around,” he said. “She was like a wife to him. Even though he was the boyfriend. She was like a wife to him.”

He said that police showed him Ring camera footage of the abduction.

“She opened the door for him. They attacked her, threw her down, put her in her own car, and drove away,” he relayed.
