Unidentified Female Remains Found in the Stanislaus River On October 9th, 2015

On October 9th, 2015, partial remains of a female were found in the Stanislaus River near the Parrots Ferry Bridge. Evidence strongly suggested the female had been a victim of a homicide and that her remains had been submerged intentionally. Based on certain factors, it is possible the remains had been submerged in the river for a long period of time.
There have been few leads over the years, and to date, the victim is still unidentified.
