Watts went missing after shopping at the Olde Town Mall at 106 N.W. F Street in Grants Pass on November 29, 2006, and her friends believe she may have been the victim of a gang retaliation. Public Safety has never proven this accusation or her affiliation with local gangs. Watts’ boyfriend was the last person to see her and they were shopping at the mall together before she disappeared. Her boyfriend said he did not know where she was headed after they parted ways. Detectives had a difficult time obtaining any more information from him. Police knew Watts was involved with the drug culture in Josephine County and she had several encounters with police for different types of cases; fraud cases, theft and drug law. Watts does have a misdemeanor warrant with local police department.
