Nancy, she has been missing for 20 years and we still have hope that she is still out there somewhere and is looking for us as we have been looking for her. We have never had a chance to have her story put on national television and we believe that if we do get a chance to put her story out there, we will find her. Please help us bring Lurline Michelle Bergeron home to her family!

Hi , I'm lurlines niece . Throughout my life , I've heard about my aunt , Lurline Bergeron . I never got to meet my aunt , but my family says I remind them so much of her. Even though I never met her , I would love to if she's still out there. I just want to find my aunt . I want to know what happened . it drives me crazy that till this day my aunt has not been found and its been over 20 years ! Please help me find my aunt

Detectives still trying to find teen reported missing over twenty years ago

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Detectives in Palm Beach County are hoping to find a woman who was reported missing in 1991.

Lurine Bergeron, who was 14 at the time of her disappearance on July 1, was believed to have been last seen in the West Palm Beach area, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Bergeron was believed to have been three to four months pregnant at the time of her disappearance and was known as a habitual runaway who dated older Hispanic men.

Bergeron's mother and sister submitted Biometric DNA Family Reference Samples to the UNT Center for Human Identification for comparison to other unidentified human remains cases, according to the sheriff's office. So far, Bergeron has not been located. According to the sheriff's office, she was last described as having brown hair and green eyes. She was a nail biter and had scars on her legs, arms abdomen and a surgical scar on the left side of her head, near her ear from a car accident where a surgeon had to cut her scalp for brain swelling.

What happened to Lurine Bergeron?

Lurine Bergeron was only 14 years old and possibly pregnant when she went missing on July 1st, 1991. Her family and our detectives have never stopped looking for her.
She was believed to be in the West Palm Beach area, and although she was a habitual runaway, known to date older Hispanic men, this last time things were different. Not only was she missing, but she was also believed to be 3 to 4 months pregnant.

Lurine was described as having brown hair and green eyes. She stood 5’05” feet tall and weighed approximately 150 lbs. She was a nail biter and had scars on her legs, arms, her abdomen, and a surgical scar on the left side of her head, near her ear, from an automobile accident. Nearly thirty years later, her family has not given up on the idea of finding her. Lurine's mother and sister have even gone as far as submitting Biometric DNA Family Reference Samples to be compared to other unidentified human remain cases. Unfortunately, Lurine has still not been located.
