Arizona police are searching for an 11-year-old boy who disappeared on Sunday.

NBC 12 reports that Henri Ramirez-Sanchez disappeared at around 11 a.m. Sunday from the Mesa area. According to his family, Henri left his cellphone behind and the door locked. He was reportedly gone when his family returned home.

Henri was last seen wearing black shoes, blue pants and a blue button-up shirt. According to police, he had a blue backpack with clothes inside.

A week and a bit since he disappeared and absolutely nothing new I can find about this case. I haven't heard about searches at all, I'm guessing they are probably just looking at his disappearance as a runaway but he's 11!! I also haven't seen any rewards posted.

If he did run why didn't he take his phone, maybe just because he knows they can track it. I hope he's safe somewhere.

First I am reading this one. WTH? So he leaves a cell, locks the door even but they know somehow he took a backpack with clothes in it. Okay, there must be some proof positive to say that. So are they looking for him?? He is 11 for goodness sakes. WHY is this not all over the news like Gannon was? Before we even knew much? First I have heard of it is THIS moment.

Thank God. So happy to hear this. This one was worrisome, no phone and so young.
