I haven't posted a thread in a very long time. I had to remember what to put in the title and find the way to make one.
This is the case Nate Eaton referred to last night at the end of a Vallow recap. He just put up his coverage from tonight. I haven't even listened to it yet. Member of the FDLS church, a polygamist group and that may be neither here nor there as we follow it.

I have watched Nate's first minute or two and it already grips imo.

She was sent off when her oldest was 12 and youngest 2 with the impression it would not be for long. Again OMG.

I've heard stories like this before but they never cease to hit me like wtf?

All I have to say is this is a MUST watch. She was allowed nor in any store for years and then had to go into one, and then had to live amongst "Gentiles" later on, never having done so and having little exposure to anything, even stores... This group was huge, they had construction crews in many states etc. but I'm saying too, this IS this faith, the original one too and none of the rest of us are part of the 144K in any of them...

Nate has not even gotten to Elintra yet. It is INTERESTING though. Yet I have heard so many similar things like this.

Nate has a knack for the right questions, a talent that way, not that they and all may not have talked prior to any on camera interview, but he just does. The question he just asked is dead on right, did it just eat at her over time or was it a lightbulb moment... Paraphrasing.

I am not sharing every moment by a long shot. This is well worth very worth a watch.

One can tell there are also things here that are not shared, and unspoken, due to, to this day, her fear, conditioning, etc... Like contact with the husband even though not supposed to have contact and some other things...

Guarantee we are getting the short version of this and not all that it was and how bad. She is sharing a lot but if she shared all, I am guessing it would be a week long thing. She was raised in this. Cult, cult, cult.

Honestly, imagine if you were born into such and it was all you knew your entire life.

Why are all such things man-centric... Control of women, children. Control even of those judged lesser men or bringing them over to the man-centric control side if not on it....

I don't know, early morn, big day. Hopefully. Needed a distraction and boy this is giving me one.

One can tell there is so much more to this story and that she could probably tell it for hours.

We are up to where she goes to get her children and has had her lightbulb moment so to speak, but does not even know where they are, she and only one son were banished, had not even seen her own family, sibs etc., until her dad died...

Again, I am not sharing all, there is a LOT in here worth hearing.

Her sister knew of an atty who had been helping quite a few mothers who had been sent away from their children get their children back...

What evil, affecting entire lives and lifetimes...

So with this atty she gets her children back after years but one was an adult and he was torn and had been of course indoctrinated (as I am sure all had)...

Heartbreaking.

Imagine being born into this. She basically was herself.... her kids had their mother taken away for a good part of their lives and she had them ripped from her...

She fights to get custody after she goes to get her kids and had her wake up moment and ultimately she does get full custody of four of five, again one is an adult. I give her credit for doing this and gettng custody and going against. But of course they have all been away and indoctrinated...

It's no surprise really that this girl at 16 was so influenced, just like the adult son...

this mom found TWO phones after she got her kids back over time outside hidden that apparently the FLDS had gotten to them or given them, etc...

now this is her claim but I am sure LE would know this as well so I would take it as truth.

Elintra left her a letter that this was her choice, etc. Uhm okay, but she's 16, she does not have a choice and has been entirely influenced her entire life.

I'll give it to this mom in that she too was raised in this b.s. but has not given up even though the kids have been taught the same and the oldest two too far gone perhaps but she was also indoctrinated if that is the right word her entire life... And she is still fighting and trying...

It's just a GOOD watch. Heartbreaking but this sh*t has to end.

One can tell there are things she doesn't say.

Also comes out late in the interview that they were never legally married since second wife. Only a church marriage and in the eyes of the church. Could not do legally. And that is because of bigamy and polygamy which again wasn't abolished voluntarily by the LDS itself.

As we have heard before, Warren Jeffs is still running all from prison!!! This is NOT okay and should never be allowed to happen. This whole experiment needs to end with crime, sentences, and soft things on all of it. It has gotten ridiculous. Past ridiculous. Some generations imo don't even KNOW. Or some of them don't. My kids do.

MONTEVIEW — It has been over a year since a teenager was last seen in Jefferson County, and deputies are still looking for her.

Elintra Fischer was last seen on Jan. 1, 2023. She was 16 years old at the time when she was reported as a runaway by her mother, Elizabeth Roundy.

She recently turned 17 in December.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jennifer Fullmer told EastIdahoNews.com she is still entered into the national database as a juvenile runaway.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has been working with multiple law enforcement agencies in Utah including Cedar City and Cache County because officials believed that is where she was headed originally. However, Fullmer said she could be anywhere.

Fullmer said there have been no new leads or progress, but her case is still active. Fullmer added that the sheriff’s office would like to hear from Elintra.

Background​

Elintra reportedly left her Monteview home in her mother’s car in 2023. However, the vehicle — a gray 2015 Honda Civic — was later found at a gas station in McCammon.

Officials say she was reported to be wearing a “prairie dress” (FLDS style) at the time she left home.

EastIdahoNews.com interviewed Elintra’s mother in a previous article. Roundy had said she believed her daughter ran away to rejoin members of The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in southern Utah.

Glad to see you checking this one out and yes, I would say it is the same interview. He had her mother on. Well worth a watch imo. Even parts of it with talking of influence through the years on her other kids who she has except for the boy who was of age, and the influence on herself, is worth the watch. I've seen tons of things like this, however, not all are well known cases. I've also seen them relating to the LDS etc. and not the FLDS. There's tons out there.

I can't count how many Vallow extended relatives etc. have broken off from even the LDS. Not to go to something like the FLDS but to leave it ALL. Not just extended either, Colby for one.

Since you are looking at this now, interested on your takes most definitely.
