The Wexford County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who is reported missing and possibly endangered.

Park, who is approximately 38 weeks pregnant, was last seen willingly getting into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle on Monday night around 11:30 p.m. outside a relative's home on South 21 1/2 Road.

She had arranged to be picked up but did not disclose to the witness who would be picking her up, the sheriffs office said.

Deputies said her cellphone was later discovered on a two-track near the location where she was last seen.

We do not know what part is false that she reported. Evidently she told them something they found not to be true, hence the charge.

Yes but she hasn't been charged with anything to do with her death so how would she know? Unless she knows the person who did it and LE are hoping this arrest will get her to talk.

I don't think they've legally identified Rebecca's body and cause of death yet via autopsy. Until that happens, they really can't charge anyone.

Yes. Cause of death could either lead to murder or abuse of a corpse. Depending on the status of the baby, that could change the charges even more.
Most importantly, they need official id of her. I sure wouldn't trust anybody in this family to officially identify her

A unpreserved dead body that has been out in the weather will have significant changes. That's why they have to confirm her identity through autopsy. Honestly, she was probably unrecognizable.

Rebecca Park's family confirms that her body was discovered in the Manistee National Forest by searchers, not far from where she was last seen by her mother 21 days earlier, near Cadillac. Oddly, this area had been searched before.

WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - The bizarre disappearance of a pregnant woman takes another gruesome turn after her body has been found in Northern Michigan, but the status of her baby remains unknown.

"The young lady that was found resembles Rebecca Parks, the young lady who went missing on November fourth, and we are actively investigating that," said Wexford County Sheriff Trent Taylor. "It's a tragic time in our county, and hopefully this brings some closure to this awful incident."
In court a day later were her baby's father, Richard Falor, and Rebecca's younger sister, Kimberly Park. They are both facing charges unrelated to Rebecca's death.

The Wexford County Sheriff said during a late night press conference held on Tuesday that a body had been recovered Tuesday afternoon after a citizen search party found her.
Dig deeper:
Richard is facing unrelated drug charges, while Kimberly is charged with tampering with evidence and lying to police. They have not been charged with homicide.
Due to the media firestorm surrounding the case, the judge took decisive action in court on Wednesday.
"Kimberly Park, ladies and gentlemen, people in the court, media, and those on livestream," said Judge Corey Wiggins. "The court has an ethical duty to ensure that the defendants in these cases can have a fair trial. The court is well aware of the publicity this case has received across the country. In order to protect the defendants' interests in this case, the court is going to take the court off of livestream."
The lack of charges could be related to the fact that an autopsy has not yet been conducted on Rebecca, and, of course, the fact that her baby has not been found.

I think more charges are going to come, I would guess they knew she died and were there or the sister was and they moved her body, or she/they killed her and moved her body and so to report her missing was a lie as all along she knew where she was and what had happened. That would be the false reporting in my opinion.

I read all the posts to catch upquickly and so now am covering a few topics I saw, like can you or someone tell me what makes you all think he also dated the sister or was dating her? And when? I k now the mother was his gf but know nothing about the sister?

I think from reading all her body was recognizable enough to them. They are awaiting official confirmation apparently.

Quite the bunch... And he a meth dealer too. He is a SO, why all l3 women would even want to be with him, I don't know unless they were into meth too. He's no prize, that's for sure.

Well, I don't think anyone, including LE, believed that Becca ran off with some person unknown to anyone who knew her...
Anyway, it's appearing to me that the relationships among these people are even more perverse than I'd already understood them to be.

I think the circumstance that made the least sense to me is where her phone was found, I mean, it made no sense that if she ditched her phone, it'd have been in that location.
In other words, that circumstance more than any other is what made me think that what ever happened, it was bad.
