This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

LOL. It's easy to convict her of 1 charge or multiple with this form. I bet that's what they don't like. At the very least she should be convicted of OUI.

Yeah she admitted to driving drunk herself so finding her innocent of that is pretty dishonest.

No I hadn't noticed that but mostly i only watch court and testimony.

Jurors began their second full day of deliberations in the murder retrial of Karen Read.

After about two hours of deliberations on Tuesday, the jury asked several questions related to the charges, verdict slip and evidence. The first question read by Judge Beverly Cannone asked "What is the time frame for the OUI (operating under the influence) charge?"
The second question was "Are video clips of Karen’s interviews evidence" and "how can we consider them?"
The final question was "Does convicting on a subcharge ... convict the overall charge?"
After a break, Cannone told the jury they "have the evidence" and "are the fact finders" in response to their question about the operating under the influence charge. In response to their second question, Cannone told the jury the videos of Read's interviews are evidence and should be given as much weight as they deem appropriate.
After making some slight changes to the verdict slip for clarity, Cannone brought the jury into the courtroom and walked them through the form to clear up any confusion they may have had.

I don't know. I think personally it was fairly clear and of couse anything she said is evidence. Maybe there is one struggling with knowing for sure. In watching a chat they still seem to think a verdict is coming today, probably because of the questions, no idea.

If I read it right, and who knows today, it would seem they or one wants to be sure say if they find her guilty of OWI and manslaughter it does not make her guilty of 2nd degree or some such. And soomeone wants to maybe be sure of that. Just a guess. It would also imo mean perhaps they are trying to come to agreement on what charge. In ours, we had first and second degree, and it only got done that way close to trial. Not sure to this day what I think of it. I think honestly they reached a compromise, no one thought him innocent. Thank God. On one hand, I feel if there had been no choice first degree would have been chosen because no one thought him innocent but then maybe not, may one or more could' come to the terms for that or that he meant it, etc.

So my guess is that's the struggle if there is one. Juries do compromise. Some were talked to so we had some feedback.

Totally my guess. Sounding to me like all think her guilty of something. Could be just the OWI but I'm thinking it is also the degree of murder.

I find most juries very responsible, still doesn't mean they will want to stay forever. Tons of questions coming today.

I was getting mixed up a bit but have updated what i think she should get. I don't think it should be 001 as it wasn't premeditated.

I didn't think so with NG. However, I couldn't watch some of today, were there more questions. Last one I saw was the one Jackson argued that he wanted judge saying more than hypothetical. She was going by the law.

Imo at this point, they are not all in agreement. There will be no acquittal and it is hard to say if they will come to terms on what degree of guilt. It would seem (just a guess) those disagreeing are sticking to their guns.

I watched a lot of it last night after being on here and had a few takeaways myself. First, the jury would seem to have spent a lot of time on instructions, the verdict form and questions and so maybe they haven't deliberated quite as long as we think.

Second I took that VERY question just the opposite of you. I took it as maybe most or all were ready to find her guilty on two counts but one or more wanted to sure if they agreed to those charges, what happened on the other charge/s. Are you sure they said NG? I thought they said guilty. I certainly could have heard wrong. Was a long hard day.

And Jackson continues to be imo pretty flustered while Brennan is as cool as can be.

I think I heard most and caught mostly up. I just let the all day feed play and did other things until the sound came up if there was a jury question or they returned to the courtroom.
