This woman didn't do this. I'd be willing to bet that someone in the house did it. Someone in the house looked up "How long will it take for somebody to die in the cold." Karen couldn't have done that search.

Is there a cover up conspiracy?

Lol, the testimony was actually I thought pretty interesting today but during even it being interesting I ended up down for the count lol. In Daybell I kept up and the rare part I missed, I would go back and watch but not trying to do that with this one. Wouldn't get to all of it I'm sure but I've watched plenty so far. I really did want to see the rest of the witness and cross and all, but couldn't stay awake.

And I've listened to some pretty well dry stuff like almost all day of the cell phone expert, today was more interesting even but again couldn't stay awake. What I find interesting is it being a second trial. The prosecution is covering ahead of time what they know or figure the defense will try to make an issue of.

Ready to go down again. I prefer to see testimony over a recap but may have to see a recap on today when I can stay up or am up. Getting very old this sleeping thing.

It is very different than the first trial... In a good way imo.
 
There's a YT channel streaming the trial that whenever there's a sidebar, they run prior clips of the defense in fast forward motion as they go to and from the bench while the Benny Hill theme is playing, lol!

I am struggling myself, already worried about Mel and now am going to be worried about you even though you are a PIA lol. Seriously though reach out and/or take care of yourself. I've had to lately, a lot.

Which one? Pretty Lies may do that. I don't think Linda is covering but she did that like in Daybell, any down time, she will talk or cover some other things on the case, etc.
 
She just never learns to shut her mouth. Why doesn't she just testify then? This is an entirely different trial than the last one and I'd say she's worried.
I've watched a darned fair amount of it.

I gave my rotten mouse a different surface as I don't know how to do links with a touch pad. Going to have to have daughter teach me if I ever get better. But got it to work on a different surface. Caffeine, trying to push through whatever it is going on with me.

Well the article reported what Read said outside the courtroom but failed to report Bukhenik's testimony that Read told him and Proctor- in the presence of her parents at their house that mid-afternoon- that she didn't see him go into the house!
Is it that the reporter isn't listening or what?

No flipping idea but was said now she claims she DID she him go in the house. Okay, since when?

To your other post, never heard of that channel but I think the problem the last few days I look for it as the several that come up for me weren't getting their feeds up early so it seemed it wasn't going to come on. I do mostly YT but the algorithm if they would listen I could sure tell them to FIX for one thing. And again, the other thing is some used to have their feeds up early and people would be in their chatting for an hour before it ever comes on. So when I don't see it, I think it may be a day off for court. Then I go googling to see if there IS court on the case, pain in the arse. Find out there is, then I go look to who I subscribed to on a search in YT and who I know covers it and they don't have their feeds up yet... Been a royal PIA the last couple of days.

I don't like the breaks entirely but honestly, I don't mind them so much. It gets a bit sickening this case and like today? I was ready for a break before they took one lol.

The follow-up question should have been why she texted him at 12:59:24 am that nobody knew where he was.

Edit: Her over 50 calls and 7 voicemails to John between 12: 33:35 am and 6:03:02 am were entered into evidence on Day 10.

Have you been watching today?? I have and let me tell you, if you haven't been, I was about sick to death of it. Defense is just showing who SHE is. Making the LE State guy read every message between her and Higgins. It got so long and about as sickening as Chad and Lori's texts in Daybell, worse maybe in some ways.

It shows who their client is SO clearly, shooting selves in foot and I don't care what they think their point will be at the end of it, in the chat where I was both sides had had it with listening to it for so long, the jurors were probably sick to death of it, why not bore them to sleep AJ? Most here that seemed to care about the case don't even watch I don't think, I know you do or have.

Not sure if you or anyone saw it all but I sure did. To me, it is just showing what SHE is. And her own atty is forcing all that. Big mistake imo.

I watched some of it and had it on in the background- you know, having watched the first trial, I'm already familiar with Bukhenek's testimony but in the first trial, it wasn't Bukhenek who'd read through those texts, it was Higgins, so that was different.

I watched a lot of the first, not all. What I find different this time, is the P knows a lot of what the D will try to do so they are getting out in front of it a lot. I watched almost all of yesterday. Fell asleep and had to go back this morning to finish. Got really sick of it, this was mostly Jackson time but I was hoping they got to Brennan with redirect. They didn't, so this guy is going to be on the stand at least three days.

You know it's interesting watching chats. The people that think she is innocent could not see the text messages for what they were. I'm not sure if I saw Higgins and the full texts in the last one. I listened to all yesterday too and it is so clear Karen got his number from someone and he kept wondering why, and asking her her purpose throughout, she kept angling to meet up with him and he resisted or had a reason every time and never did so. Then the Waterfall Bar video that was interesting and how AJ tried to make it something it was not even close to trying to build for their ridiculous story. So FAKE. Well in the first trial, it was during the prosecution's direct exam with Higgins that Higgins read through those texts.... but yeah, there's just so much there with those texts, I wouldn't know where to start!
Bottomline- and it's clear as a bell to me- those texts show Read to be a betraying, delusional, gaslighting, hypocritical, lying, manipulative psycho, In alphabetical order, that is. LMAO!

Oh you got that right!! It's just utterly stupid of AJ to have made him read them all and I'm fairly stupid that I'd never heard Higgins last time because it was so clear to me! I mean I've always thought that of her but I've taken it from other things. It was sooooo obvious but of course he is trying to twist it and probably needs to get in front of it as well. I could not believe the KR believers in the chat where I watched it who were SO BLIND to what it all showed. That woman is as much of a game player and narcissist as Lori Daybell. I am fairly certain I must not have heard them all before, I knew of them but don't think I heard them all. I reached the same opinion you have just by other things but that is just icing on the cake. And that's why I want to hear Brennan's redirect because I think he will point every bit of that out and MORE. Someone compared her to Jodi Arias though. LOL. True too. She's like some stalking maniac. And in the Waterfall is it? vidI eo when I saw Higgins it was like he isn't even attractive, it was all from a bit of a distance most of it but he's pretty heavy, etc. She just wanted to play John imo and with someone he knew!

Jackson tried, he is trying to lay the groundwork for their story but it was just stupid imo, but of course jury doesn't know yet the deal there yet or shouldn't. Their entire story has to circumvent all this evidence. I never saw Higgins ONCE look in Karen's direction. So he was trying to say at the end he was looking at O'Keefe I suppose to lay groundwork for later there was some fight and various things. Not sure what all you heard so just filling in a bit. Personally I think Higgins was looking at the guy who had just walked away in that direction.

Of course the dog came up. Again trying to lay the groundwork for their fantastical story. I don't know how people can even buy into that sh*t. Not knocking anyone but it is SO clearly bs.

Then AJ was trying to get him to say that KR ghosted Higgins and that Higgins had a thing for her LMAO. The witness resisted well and pointed out on one occasion that AJ didn't give the first part of an exchange, etc., etc. on something he was trying to imply, typical defense tactics and this guy knew it was. Again chat thought, just her supporters, not the ones who didn't think her innocent, were saying the witness was dumb, etc. so naive or biased not sure which, this guy has held his own QUITE well.

Anyhow, even if you heard all this yesterday, a bit of a fill in for anyone who didn't see it. I was sick of it by the end but I really WANTED to hear all this. She absolutely SICKENS me.
 
Pretty Lies puts things on during the sidebars in cases and such, if she is not attending trial, could it be her?
