I watched the parole board hearing last night on YouTube. I’ve never seen a parole board hearing so I wanted to watch it. Their dad is still in so much pain after 30 years! What a good father he would’ve been to those boys.
Susan didn’t appear any different to me at all. The same crocodile tears. And I guess she’s had trouble in prison and she had excuse after excuse. They also mentioned that the jury had asked what “life” meant and at the time it meant Life in prison. They chose that because they wanted her to be in prison and think about what she did the rest of her life. Then a year or two after that, the state changed the laws to the ability to appear before a parole after 30 years. The jury ruled based on believing she would stay in prison her whole life and that’s where she should stay.
yes and there is something and serious things really wrong with our system based on that. now she will come up like every two years is it? so wrong, so unfair.
I ran into this before leaving for work yesterday. I saw a fair amount of her side, coudln't even tell you show as I hit it "during" and they were givbein it a big effort and I thought NO, you cannot let this woman out. thankfully before I left for work I saw a fair amount o fhe P side who was really hammering in what she did. and I felt more secure and then had to leave for work. I got home last night and it was Melanie Little's channel I had watched it on or the parts I saw and it was still up so I started it meaning to continue but it started a new before the parole hearing started. wa stired and never saw it "all". I saw HERE that parole was denied.
I think everyone who was alive of any age remembers this case. I did see on Melanie today, as it started at the beginning of her video, susan's words and things from back when. SUCH a liar.
I meant to watch it all but still haven't although when I first posted it yesterday i'd seen a fair portion.
I'm as upset about our laws and changes too. I mean as you said here, the jury thought they were putting her away for good.
It's not RIGHT.
Thing surprised the heck out of us in our case where only through happenstance almost did we find out most serve about 2/3 of their sentence, etc. WHAT?
All of these changes apparently went on under our noses and many STILL are not aware of them until and if something happens to you and they matter to you and then you find out the hard way.
Life is not life. WHAT? Etc.
And really, now that I've been aware for awhile, let me also say how's this whole thing been working out??? Not with her but we see offender after offender that NEVER should have been out murder another, etc.
But back to her, I don't care if she turns into Mother Teresa, she methodically, and planned, and cold bloodedly killed her two little BOYS. That was a CHOICE. BAlmed a black man. Got on TB for nine days and lied about it. Etc.
I wouldn't care if she was 19, 25 or 45, she made this choice and repeatedly lied and did so to her husband. And took their lives. I heard her today as I hit Melanie a the beginning of the video saying how the older one did something he'd never done before and it sounded like "eh took his pooper out of his mouth" that day,, people were debating what she said and most including me figured she meant pacifier and told her he loved her. She went on to say he'd said that before but only in response to her saying it, not saying it unprompted and on his own out of the blue!
THAT is going to haunt me. And what a psycho. I probably knew it back when but forgot. Lek most of us, I recall the case well and what she did.
It's probably true and the two year old ws it probably had a sense of something...IF TRUE of course but I'd almost bet it was.
I heard too, YES, that she was never to be up for parole, they EVEN considered charging the DP for her!!
On a "baser" level and she deserves it, I'm going to lower myself and say I don't know who the heck was having an affair with something like that or why prison guards would either but I guess with some men it's whatever will do such...
Every two years from what I understand now. This shall go on. Disgusting.
Also, I ran into this out of the blue before leaving for work yesterday. I wasn't sure if I was watching something Melani Little was doing coverage on from prior or if it was live. When I got home and looked hera and went back on hers, I realized itw as happening as she played it. Then I wondered or realized I think we've heard hints of this coming up but WHY was this not covered or known to no end? I mean for me, I get it, I don't follow much for news sources and it's an old case. And my YT algorithms aren't going to bring it up most likely but the fact Melanie had it up is the only reason I even realized it was going on.
As far as parole hearings, etc. oh boy, I haevn't seen many but Iv'e seen some real idiots let someone out. They aren't voted in for one thing and most of us never know of such.
I recall watching OJ's when they let him out. Not on the murders of course but his later charges..
We can't fix this world but it's really disgusting this sh*t goes on under our noses.
Thankfully she was not let out today, but the jury that convicted her had no idea based on what you said that this could happen.
She's not been an angel in prison either.
And two very young children are dead. Her OWN.
If what I heard earlier today is correct, it will be every TWO years now.
